If using a conventional 4-3 defense, you have Jack Ham at one outside linebacker, Jack Lambert in the middle (two of the very best at their position in NFL history). Which one other Steelers linebacker joins them?

Andy Russell - 7 Pro Bowls
Greg Lloyd - 5 Pro Bowls
    T.J. Watt - 6 Pro Bowls
James Harrison - 5 Pro Bowls
Kevin Greene - not a Steeler long enough to warrant consideration
    Any others?

    TJ Watt.

Granted, Andy Russell was one hell of a cover guy but like Russell, T.J. Watt can blitz with the best of them. In addition, as far as 3-4 OLBs go, coverage wise, TJ is the best. Wouldn't lose too much coverage ability with T.J.

TJ. I’d say Harrison, but he’d spend more time suspended than on the field in this pussified version of the NFL.

Not sure about problems but both Joey Porter Sr. and Jason Gildon warrant consideration.

Gildon has got to be one of the most silent players never mentioned despite leading this franchise in sacks. The dude just kept his mouth shut and went to work.

I'd have to pick Lloyd though for his shear tenacity. Him in his prime and Lambert would have been fun to watch taking the heads off of people
