I'm thinking, some people 'round here don't remember the old, "Official" message board where you couldn't even type the name of the defensive coordinator. Ads would be an improvement!

If I had an issue with this site it wouldn't be the ads(that I don't see), it would be the Sean Davis article featured on the home page.

I remember when the internet first started, the content for the most part was free, when suggestions were made that email might cost something, or really anything else there was an uproar. Then the different subscription services, and the increased ads on You Tube, and the complaints continue. All of this stuff cast somebody something, even if the board is maintained by volunteers (IDK), there are still expenses, so to fund it you either ask for donations, sign up with an advertising frim, or charge for membership. Is it that hard to figure out? I have no idea if the person/s, company, group..what or whoever operate this board make money, or how much. if it has turned into a highly profitable business (doubtful), good for them, if it is just self sustaining, good for them and thank you.

Such whiners, and on a Steeler board. Thought I went to the browns board for a minute, lol.

 

Thank god we gave very few whiners on this board

 

I get them when I start up, but a simple click and it's gone. I could use ad block, but for such a little thing why bother?

This is the best Steeler board out there with very reasonable mods. I can deal with some pop ups.
