Well like I said, they could hire a guy with no resume, find the unknown coordinator that is up and coming as is their M.O. or hire a HC with experience. If it’s the later, you’re hiring a guy that was just fired.

He has good traits, team is prepared, makes good in game decisions, plays well against superior competition, no locker room drama, players love him. Also won coach of the year 2 years ago.

He also has Steeler lineage. I want the Steelers to conduct a thorough search process, if they do and they feel he is the best candidate then I'm good. No more BS locker room drama and let's a have a more disciplined team.

Good. Get in, build a winner, get out.

Tongue in cheek really, he's tainted to me.

Vrabel has proven he has the chops to coach em up. I don't know who made their personnel decisions but that's what tanked the team imo.

I think I am going to pass only because I feel an offensive up and comer
that can work with a young QB room. A teacher like Chuck Noll was. I know
I am repeating myself but this person must have Proven play calling experience.

Vrabel hasn’t had the pieces, they traded away his best receiver and have had a lot of misses high in the draft.

It’s very surprising to see him fired, I think he is a good coach and leader. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes next.

Tennessee may be planning a tear down of the roster and just wanted to reset everything

Then make something up that’s completely acceptable here apparently

We can’t end on this note

Apparently he didn't get on board with RAN Carthon's vision and strategy of a complete rebuild. And considering that the tear down was already somewhat in progress before Carthon even got there, it seems like it must be coming from the owner.

He had a better postseason record over the past 6 than years than our guy and got fired. Maybe if he could have only had more non-losing seasons... further supporting the premise that Tomlin would have been fired by any other NFL team besides the steelers for his past 7 years results or lack thereof.

Sounds like butting heads with the owner.

Well then at least he won't beat us

I want an Offensive Head Coach. He can hire the next Defensive Coordinator. I wouldn't mind having Vrabel as the defensive coordinator but I believe he is going to get one of the head coaching vacancies.

Say what you want about the Rooneys, but they knowhow to hire head coaches. They just prefer not to do it often.

Yeah I saw that today. I think he is a great coach. I would still be worried what he could do for the offense. I would be glad to hear he was hired. Titans are stupid for letting him go.

There is a 100% chance that he will be employed somewhere next season. This may force the Patriots hand, actually.
