When I was young, dumb and full of ... stuff. I got a tat of a girls name on my left forearm, cost me $3.00. I was in Vietnam about 10 days when I got the ole dear coastal. That was in 1967, got the tat in 1966. I Got married in 1974 and her name was not the name on my arm. My wife said it didn't bother her but it bothered me. I was in Amsterdam in 1975 and walking by a tattoo shop I decided to get a Marine Corps Emblem and have the wings cover that name. Cost me $8.00 to fix my youngun mistake. Don't care what it will look like when I'm 80. I may be blind by then, Ha-ha

 

LOL, Didn't know this was going to be a topic about whether or not one should get a tattoo. I decided that I am getting one, I'm going through various pin up girl poses now with an artist to see which is best. In some poses a jersey number will be shown. So I got to also decide what number. My wife's favorite is 86 for Hines or 36 for the bus. I guess I can't go wrong with either.

Just curious, If you had to pick 1 tattoo with a player's jersey, who would it be?
