That would mean the Broncos will throw the towel for next year if they cut Wilson for 85 million!

I just cant see it, the Waltons have the cash, but a team is not about THAT cash lol. The talk about the injury guarantee makes sense in that they could not unload him if he was injured, but the hit is what is shown on several CAP sites, unless they can get a trade and eat some of the cost it makes no sense to cut him.

The post I responded to suggested signing Mayfield as a backup. I'm not even sure he would sign somewhere that they told him he had to come in and complete. No, I don't think Pickett is locked in as the unquestioned starter, but I would be surprised if he isn't given the opportunity to compete for it.

I agree, Pickett should certainly be given the opportunity to compete for the starting job. But it needs to be an objective, unbiased process overseen by a brand new offensive coordinator and offensive assistants who know how to properly coach and evaluate quarterbacks.

This is not true. Maybe for some, but not all.

Let's be totally honest Here....Do You honestly think that if Trubisky didn't suck KFP 1st Year KFP starts that soon??. Now go compare KFP , and remember I'm not against KFP....because I truly don't know yet how good He can be, but if He wasn't a 1st round pick....don't you think they would have bench Him as fast as they Did with Mason??? I mean Mason did have a better record , and better stats in the 1st year He played that You say sucked, and that's why He never got a chance again. So if Mason was better the only chance He got....why ....besides being a 1st round pick did KFP get another chance, and another year since Mason was better ???? You , and I both know why....1st round pick, and 1st round money.

Everything is true for some, but not for all. Are you telling me that before the season began the board wasn't rife with "Rudolph sucks so bad no one else would sign him"?

Add at that time and based on prior performance that was a correct assessment

For those saying he's washed up.....
    26 td's, 8 int's, 3070 yes and a 98 qbr is far from washed up.
To me, he was with a bum, year one, in Hackett and an ego maniac this season. Too pricey though. If we can get him cheap, yeppers!
