We’d better try some go routes to Pickens, DJ and Austin. That’s what Mason does best. Unfortunately what Mason hasn’t really put on film is the ability to work the middle of the field, and that’s where the Bengals’ pass D is weakest (see Freiermuth’s career game a few weeks ago). I’ll be rooting hard for Mason to have a great game and help our offense actually put points on the board, but I have low expectations.

People forget that most of his production in that game against the Bengals was short dump-offs to running backs against an opponent that was horrible at linebacker. He completed a long touchdown pass to Johnson, but Samuels and Conner each caught eight passes.

Rudolph has happy feet or hooves or whatever. Will never change. Praying we can eek out a win.

Stat to know: Steelers QBs have nearly as many interceptions (nine) as passing touchdowns (10). Pittsburgh ranks 26th in completion percentage (62%) and Total QBR (37).

@SteelLion69@SteelLion69 come at me before the game is played with that "like" stuff, not after you know the result. Just now liking a post AFTER you see the result is weak sh*t. My 8 year old nephew is never wrong after the fact either, lol.

I wasn't coming at you at all. I accidentally posted a response in the wrong thread which was more about Tomlin.

Lighten up. Getting all sensitive because I liked a comment.

I just liked a comment. You really called me out there. Done with this pointless conservation.

I'd run along too if I were trying to be a wise guy and got called out. To make it worse, you then lied about it. Little kid stuff. See ya.

I wasn't calling you out. I posted a comment in the wrong thread. I liked your comment because I agreed.

Now I am calling you out as a thin skinned jackass who is flipping out over a like.

That dude is a real piece of work so don’t waste your time on him. Besides, I’m sure with his “see ya” comment you are now on his ignore list. That’s normally the way he does things. He’s incapable of respectful dialogue and if you push back at all he puts you on ignore. Anyway, welcome to the land of misfit posters who are on Goldbunny’s ignore list. (Like the Rudolph reference, lol?

I put him on ignore as well.
Thanks for the information JackAttack 5958. I don't care if he ignores me. Fine by me.

I was loving the Mason performance tonight but know that won't last. It was just so nice to see a Steelers offense where the ball was being thrown downfield like the Big Ben glory days.

I feel like Steelers fans have been the prisoners of John "Jigsaw" Kramer for the last two years looking for any respite or redemption in this offense.

It was the most enjoyable game to watch all season.

And I wouldn’t poo poo the idea of Mason keeping it going if Tomlin continues to start him. I think he can do it.

Yeah. That is entirely possible. Seattle doesn't exactly light it up on offense either and they don't have the 'Legion of Boom' anymore. Their defense is solid though. Will be a tough game but it is winnable.

I think that Mason performance will help him out next season, if not with the Steelers, then with another team. His career isn't done yet.

I agree that his career is far from done. I also believe that Tomlin and the Steelers have totally mismanaged his career to this point.
