While he is not the main problem he is a big failure at situational punting. They should have let Boswell kick that FG but then Harvin short kicks it down the middle of the field. Does nobody know how to corner kick anymore?

Nosh!t. I was kind of hoping it would be a fake punt at least.
I believe he has thrown it in college.
Boz was shaking his head walking back off the field.

Can't stand him. Love the posters during his rookie year which said we have bigger issues the punter doesn't matter like the team shouldn't clean house in numerous areas. He fits in well though for a team and coach who cannot see what is painfully obvious to everyone.

I gave a pass on his rookie year, dad died, I think another close relative in the same period, a lot to go through for anyone, especially a young guy. But now 2 seasons later, yea cut the cord.

The Steelers always keep problems for way too long...This situation is just another example

I was a big supporter of PHIII because of the upside potential but I no longer see the long term improvement

Does Danny Sullivan get any blame/responsibility for this

Or one player having 3 ST penalties

The Steelers never had a good punter in the Tomlin era too.

True but don’t punters even practice corner kicks anymore. 30
Years ago punters aimed for corner kicks all the time. Now it’s always down the middle of the field. Not just Steelers punters either. It’s league wide.

Tomlin loves him, so that's that.

Maybe his dad had been sick for a while(don't remember) but he sucked his whole rookie year. I do remember his dad passing later in the season.

Where’s the coaching? Same issues week after week. If he isn’t coachable, cut him.

Colts punter did a pretty nasty one on us yesterday - so maybe it's just our punter that doesn't practice them?

We need to do what the Raiders did with kicker and draft a Punter in the 1st round. Janikowsky.

A big time punter that could flip the field would be huge for this team.

I don't know if you guys remember Sam Koch the Ravens punter, but that guy was a killer punter. Flipped the field many of times on us.

Raiders know Punters. Ray Guy, IMO greatest coffin corner punter of all time.

The answer to Harvin is simple. Don't require a punt during the game;) Actually the Steelers beat the undefeated Eagles without punting the ball some years back. Dominated the hell out of that game.

The Steelers have tried, bringing in punters the last 2 years in training camp only to give
    Job to Harvin??????

Pretty sure Percy Harvin has already retired and never played with the Steelers.

Danny Sullivan? I don’t know who that is, but Danny Smith should certainly be under some scrutiny. So should Mike Sullivan…. Hell everyone should be under the microscope and many of them shown the door.
