Making a pretty good case for MVP if Miami gets the #1 seed. He leaves, and Miami can barely move the ball and can't score. He comes back in, and they immediately go right down the field. I'm all for it. It would be nice to see someone other than a quarterback win it for a change.

No WR has ever won the MVP
He'll be in the conversation at the very least

No Wr should ever win the MVP....unless He plays for more than one Qb for at least 7 games that year. This is what people do when they don't want to give a certain Qb the award. I ask anyone....what do You honestly think Hill's numbers would be with the backup Qb??? I would bet not as good. Now like I said if He did this with Tua, and the backup.....then I would agree, but He hasn't.

Mason Rudolph would be killing it with Tyrek Hill, if McDaniel was his coach.

Yeah ok. Like AB killed it without Ben while here??? LoL Not many Wrs are very good without a good Qb....just ask ours. Let's use DJ for example....with Mason 5 tds Djs rookie year.....with Ben 7tds, and 8tds.....since Ben left ....next two years added together.....3 tds. Yeah Qbs don't matter to how a Wrs plays. Keep telling Yourself that. LoL

I think Patrick Mahomes this year would argue that not many QBs are very good without good WRs.

I think for the most part you are right, but a solid group around can make a QB look very good. I have no idea how good Brock Purdy really is, we see Mahomes still winning with a depleted group around him, and there is talk of Brock being MVP, and that may be warranted, but the RB behind him is on pace to get 24 TD;s and 22oo total yards, now that is MVP stuff.

I can go RB before I go Wr any day. The Rb only relies on the OL in main, and He does the rest himself. A wr relies on OL, and ....will the Qb throw Him the ball, find Him, throw a good pass, and so on. Like I said....let's see what T. Hill does with a backup Qb for half a season. No wr can catch a ball not thrown to them...it's not the same as a RB just taking a hand off.

Yet He's still winning, still top 4 in passing, and top 6 in tds. Which shows that a good Qb can still get it done without a great Wr, but a great wr will play hell with a decent Qb. You can see this throughout the history of the league Qbs winning with average Wrs, but only a handful of Wrs look good without a decent Qb. Like I said....if T. Hill did it at least 6(that's not even half a season)games without Tua....I would agree, but He hasn't.

And, no QB can catch his own passes. I think Deebo Samuel is the guy on that team. When he's out, they struggle.

He doesn't have the WRs but he has Kelce and that's the difference.

You are correct that a Qb cannot catch their own passes, but they can throw too a bunch of different guys than one. For example....when Ab was here Ben went to Him a lot, but when Ab was gone....Ben the 1st year He play without him he went to 3 guys, and all 3 had over 700 yards , or more, and 6, or more tds. T. Hill doesn't get $hit if nobody throws Him the ball. Another example. How many tds did AB get in His whole career in Pittsburgh without Ben, and people said He should have been up for a MVP before?. Ab played in 6 games without Ben, and had 0 tds. This is very telling.

He may be, but he is surrounded by some all pro talent and coaching. I'm not trying to take anything away from what he has or is doing, they win and the stats say he is one of the best, in fact they throw less and yet have more yardage..but again that's a scheme that works. He lane in the right place, was 3rd string and made the most of his opportunity, there are a host of guys when given that chance never make it out of the game, lol.

Again. Qbs make Your OL, and weapons look better, or worse. This is again why I couldn't vote for T. Hill. Let him play with Trubisky for awhile, and see how much yards, and tds He has. Really easy to say He looks good with P. Mahomes, and Tua. Mason showed yesterday why You don't count a Wrs over their Qb....because without the right Qb....the wrs will play hell even getting the ball.
