It is amazing how bad our running game looks compared to other teams.

Others have commented on it - not just how the backs run, but the forward momentum, the mechanics of the handoff, etc.

Sure, the RG3 running package is a obviously a little different, but when they hand it (or toss it - what a concept) it looks much smoother.

Our running game looks like a bunch of 50 year olds trying to hand off a nerf football on the beach sand in Florida somewhere. Just a big clusterfluck.

 

To much read when its Dwyer and Redman.

Ben turns...runs back to the RB to make the handoff...and then the back looks to see what is developing in front of him.

I think that can work with Mendenhall or even occasionally Dwyer.

But Redman should be getting a head of steam and just hitting a hole...if its there or not...put your head down and plow.

You compairing RGIII to 7 is apples and oranges.....The read option is perfect for a guy like RGIII....#7..not so much.Thats not our O.And I know you know that!!

Dont know what our O is after this year but we all know its not that. Lets get a back we can give the ball to 250-300 times a season and see what happens. Screw this RBBC crap!!!! We all know#34 is not the answer. We have to go RB in R.2or3.. get a workhorse back. Keep 27&33 let 34 go. Thats just my opinion....I could be wrong!!(But I dont think so.)

 

The difference also is that most teams have a premier back. We really don't since Tomlin and Mendy can't see eye to eye.

 

Like I said......Get a back you can give the ball to 250-300 times a season and see what happens. This RBBC aint working for us.

 

Well one sweet solace I take is that the Skins are still showing you can pound the football and ALL THE WHILE ending the Cowgirls season! I LOVE IT!
