This offense would be historically bad without this man...The only reason the Steelers weren't shut out today

He's our best player on offense. We need to start him and give him the ball 15-20 times a game. Najee is just ok and Warren has passed him by.

3 passes instead of 3 runs by jaylen equals another loss engineered by canada .

Nope, 9 carries is all he gets. So much for going with the hot hand Tomlin.

I've felt this way seeing how both ran since last year, now the stats are beginning to align with the eyes for most people now. IF najee loses some weight like Bell said maybe he gets some burst into his game. He seems defeated now. Warren will see what it is perhaps to be in on first down in a shotgun set up and everyone knows the run is coming.

Its nice we get him for 2 more years for peanuts. Maybe 1 if we choose to sign him before the final year in his contract. What a great UDFA find.

My brother told me a stat that there are only two players with over 50 forced missed tackles in the league right now and its Travis Etienne and Jaylen Warren. Etienne has 206 touches, Warren has 114. Pretty awesome stuff from Jaylen.

Warren is playing better every game. He is fast. He has good vision. I think those two things combined are making him a beast.

I think Harris has slid more into the great potential category. This season, he has had 2 equally big problems IMO. 1 is that he does not have speed. He never wins the race to the outside. He never outruns anyone. 2 is that the play calling when he is in seems to have always been telegraphed. You know when he is standing in a certain area that 90% of the time, he is getting the ball for a run. They jam the center and the DBs sew up the edge he is running to if he goes out wide. He is always met at the corner by 3 to 5 defenders. If he gets faster and / or the play calling stops telegraphing his runs, I think he will turn a corner.

I hope that we keep both RBs. Both are good. They have different styles and it gives us more flexibility on exploiting a defense if our play calling moves up from the high school level. It also allows us to always have a solid RB on the board who is not gassed.

as I said on another thread, Warren is on pace to shatter the Steelers single season record for yards per carry that has lasted since 1972.

But but I thought the line was stacked when Najee was back there and when Warren is back there, the defense would leave the field? :)

Problem is I wouldn't want to overuse him. His run style is to contact, and he's not the biggest guy around. So Najee balancing the carries is probably a good thing.

Balance is fine, ideal even... but Warren needs to be the guy getting 2/3 of the RB touches. We can't keep letting Najee out touch Warren
