    1. Jaylen Warren is a man..... which begs the question, why did he only get 9 carries ..... this one's on the coaches

    2. Pass blocking was putrid

    3. Despite the poor pass pro, Kenny Pickett may have had his worst game as a pro

    4. Presley Harvin had a day to forget

    5. Defense can only do so much..... gotta get some help from the other side

    6. The league really needs to review the roughing the passer rules

    7. As stated earlier, the pass blocking stunk, but Mason Cole and Dan Moore were particularly brutal (and brutalized)

    8. Elandon Robert's was a monster

    9. Boz was his usual steady self..... a shame the offense couldn't have given him a chance to seal things

    10. And yes, once again....... Matt Canada must go

How many passes Pickett attempted beyond the yellow line for the first down in this game????....Not just his fault, since Canada and the conservative Tomlin are a major problem for this offense

I do not even care how the rest of the season plays out. Lose every game I do not care. This team is sad and laughable, it is good they did not go 7-3. This team does not have any Potential, is going nowhere and the worst part is that there has been absolutely NO development for YEARS.

every of the 6 wins was a fluke and not once did they control the opponent, outgained in 10 straight games tells you all you need to know

    11. That was a safety. Can’t believe the Browns coach didn’t challenge it. Also yes Warren is a beast!

Well the confidence I gained knowing we didn't have to face Joe Burrow in Bengal land has taken a big hit:(

By the book, Highsmith did make helmet to helmet contact on that roughing call. Garrett did also come down with his full body weight

The first three were the key. That lost the game.

    11. This team cannot run a screen

    12. DJ remembered to have key drops again

    13. Moronic idea to alternate running backs when one guy had momentum

    14. Worst play calling on last series I think I've ever seen watching football, did Canada have money on Cleveland????

With the way KP was playing you don’t throw the ball 3 times you see if you can break a run or screen pass and make them use timeouts. Awful play calling in that spot.

    1. He's our best offensive player. We HAVE to give him the ball 15-20 times a game. He's electric.
    2. They just blitzed the hell out of us, our QB couldn't make the reads to make them pay
    3. Yeah, Kenny's had so very few good ones... but this is the worst of his bevy of stinkers for sure.
    4. Yeah not good
    5. Yep. Everyone praises "4th quarter Kenny" but the defense won those games. The whole "4th quarter Kenny" thing is a farce, a fluke. The defense is actually a really good unit.
    6. Yes, but Highsmith's was actually roughing. If any contact is made with the helmet they are going to throw the flag. He pulled back but DTR stepped into the throw and they touched facemasks.
    7. It wasn't pretty, but we run blocked very well. Pass blocking was acceptable enough IMO when they are sending the house on nearly every play. They dared Kenny to beat them with his arm and he just cant do it.
    8. Roberts played a great game. Weidl and Khan did a great job finding players to round that ILB room out.
    9. We had 2 really good opportunities to get in range and squandered them both. Unfortunate because Boz is automatic. He would've made it.
    10. I'd extend Canada for 2024 before I let Kenny lead this team in 2024. We at least moved the ball in Ben's final year. We averaged over 50 yards a game and 9ppg with the worst line in the league and 0 rushing offense. Canada might be able to succeed with a real running attack and an NFL caliber QB. Not sure there is a system in the league that Kenny would succeed in.

100% on Highsmith and the league should throw a fine on top of it for good measure. If these guys don't know not to hit the QB in the face now by then they're unteachable.

we moved the ball with Ben because he’s a HOF QB. Not sure where we’re going to find one of those next year

I agree that was a safety, but the refs made up for missing that call by awarding the browns a TD when I didn’t see anything to overturn that call on the field.

Refs have been pretty awful since DJ called them out.

I’m gonna say it … I don’t think the Browns crossed the line on that first TD.

#2 is key. I'm not absolving the line. But when you get blitzed and the QB can't find the open guy...that's on the QB. It's his job to beat the blitz. If you can't...you're not an NFL QB...full stop.

A HOF QB coming off of elbow surgery in his final year in the league. Ben is certainly a HOF guy, but he wasn't playing at his prime, HOF level in 2021. He was probably a league average guy at that point.

If we had an NFL caliber QB, the current offense would be able to move the ball.

If that’s the case then neither Trubisky nor Rudolph can be considered NFL caliber QB. We are effed

Matt Canada needs to be fired and never allowed into an NFL stadium again! EVER!!!

And I agree that Pickett is not the quarterback to lead this team. The Steelers need to be discussing other options and those conversations should be happening now.

Both teams played like they didn't trust their quarterback. That made sense for the Browns. He is a rookie who wasn't supposed to play at all this season and he sucked in his other start. They also have a dominant defense.

The Steelers aren't doing Pickett or the rest of the offense any favors by thinking they can just run screen after screen. They blew up every screen to a running back all day. Trying one when they had the ball at the Cleveland 40 late in the fourth quarter was just stupid. Running first and second-down plays without Warren on the field was monumentally stupid. The offensive line was better in run blocking than pass protection and Warren was a beast all day. I think he could have gotten five yards on two carries, which would have been enough to bring in Boswell to try the go-ahead field goal.

The ball should have gone to him at least once on that last possession, too.

That said, Pickett has regressed even more these last three weeks. It finally caught up to the Steelers today. Forget everything else. Johnson was open near the sideline on that third down play with under 1:30 remaining. Pickett had time. Last season, he makes that throw. Earlier this season, he makes that throw. Fourth-quarter Pickett was real, but right now, he can't even manage that.

I have no idea what the Steelers do now. They clearly don't think Trubisky is going to win games for them and they have no faith in Rudolph. Pickett still might be their best option, but it's going to be damn difficult to win games with him playing like this.

Also, I was wrong about the running back situation. Harris has been decent, but Warren needs to be the feature back. Not treating him like one probably cost them the game today, perhaps even more so than Pickett's horrible play.

Trubisky would absolutely gain more yards in this offense than Pickett. For the games he's started he throws for 20 yards a game more than Pickett already. In two full halves in relief of Pickett he threw for 144 and 138... He just would gain more. He'd throw picks, but then again, he has the balls to throw the ball more than 5 yards downfield... Kenny would get picked just as much as Trubisky if he actually tried to throw the ball downfield. He just doesn't turn it over because he doesn't attempt anything past the sticks.

    # 3 - he seems to have his worst day as a pro, every other game.
#4 - he should have been replaced in the offseason.
#8 and 9 - bright spots for sure.

and on the 9 carries - that is b/c of the LOVE AFFAIR with Harris, which HAS to end.

    def some truth to this.

and PICKETT has had ~ 4 INTs flat out DROPPED this year, 1 or 2 would have been pick 6's.
