Agreed. Feel like Watson was fragile and could have been easily rattled / timid. Don't see this as much of a break. No pun intended.

 

True, but better chance for our defense to keep the score down and create turnovers especially if Watson's 2nd half against the Ravens was not a fluke

 

Watson just didn't look right after the shoulder got banged up. You could tell it was really affecting him.

He wasn't playing great before the injury, but there was clearly something not right.

Fans never know how badly a players performance is being limited by injury. The players get hammered by fans, but they are often playing a collision sport in a condition that a person that works from home on their computer wouldn't work through.

 

I'll have to go back and see how the Browns won those games Walker started. He has 1 TD and 5 INT's but they scored 38 in a win against IND even though he had 0 TD and 1 INT. That game was also post Chubb.

 

Steelers will have to bring their A game to win this. Backup QBs have been successful against the Steelers defense during the Tomlin era.

 

hopefully he's using a walker by the end of this one.

 

Whenever we face back up QB's. regardless of their previous NFL history, I get nervous. Maybe it's just a false thing, but it just seems we make these guys have career days when facing us.

This is worst case scenario for the Clowns. They have ZERO recourse if he's never 100% from this surgery. Even if they have to amputate his right arm, he will be right there on the bench eating up $64M in cap space for the next 3 years. This is their Hindenburg.

 

We lost to Jacboy Brissett last year in Cleveland so don't get too far ahead of ourselves.

Cleveland Defense is dang good and they are the real deal, and our offense as you all know isn't very wonderful.

 

Sunday will be a war no matter who starts for the clowns. Watson had one good half entire year. If we win this game , have a real, good shot at playoffs. Having another division and conference win is important in tiebreakers
