The Joke is on the Steelers

This Steelers‘ offense is an abomination.
Worse, it‘s soft.
They cannot run the ball. They do not score enough (2.2 touchdowns per game if, unlike them, you‘re scoring at home). Their red-zone approach stinks, and maybe most critically, their quarterback still goes sandlot too often and is getting his brains beaten in.
Bottom line: Bruce Arians must go.
I mean, Arians called for 25 passes in the first half at Dallas! He didn‘t use a fullback on several short-yardage runs against the Chargers! His third-and-1 handoffs take an hour-and-a-half to unfold and only work when Isaac Redman performs a miracle.
The running game is laughable. Byron Leftwich, who couldn‘t steal a base off Rod Barajas, has the team‘s second-longest run of the season. Rashard Mendenhall doesn‘t even bother to show up anymore.
The Steelers have lost their two divisional home games even though the opposing offense DID NOT SCORE A TOUCHDOWN. That‘s hard to do.

The Steelers front office has made their bed, now it is time to sleep in it. I have a feeling Tomlin had input on this decesion to retain BA and I hope his call pays off in the future.

 

Don't forget someone here made the prediction that Haley would turn redman into 7 ypc running back.

 

It would help if your QB bought into the system a bit.

Haley and Arians start arguing about how to score.
Arians argues that you need to throw deep to score.
Haley disagrees, you have to dink and dunk he argues.

Ben looks at both them, shakes his head and says the only way I'm going to score with you two around is if I take the gal at the next table into the Men's room.

 

Man I love a good ol'fashion gloating thread. Yep nothing quite like a Steeler fan or group of Steeler's fans sitting around having a laugh because they wanted their team to fail just so they could feel vindicated about how much they like one guy over another. How it is so much fun to just point out how right they were and how anyone who disagreed for what ever reason was wrong. It is so great that the team was able to fulfill this desire for you guys.
