The Rams might be without their top two RBs against the Steelers.

 

This appears to be the case. Williams is expected to be out through the Week 10 bye, and backup Ronnie Rivers, is out 4-5 weeks with a knee injury.

That leaves sixth-round rookie Zach Evans for now, while they brought up Royce Freeman from their own PS, and signed Myles Gaskin from Minnesota's. They also signed familiar face Darrell Henderson to their PS.

 

I liked Royce Freeman during his draft campaign. I didn’t get to watch him actually play though. Just watched some highlights and read prospect reports. Good size RB.

 

Does that mean Zach Evans and Royce Freeman will have career days like usual when Pgh plays back ups?

Decent developments, greatly diminished run game, and at least one backup corner in secondary, I think we have a chance, eventhough Stafford has a good arm, he has a tendency to keep games close and is not known to be a closer,
w an unbalanced offense (unproven and unthreatening run game) this bodes well for Steelers this weekend

 

They have a shot, but they really need Watt to be healthy. Stafford has struggled when opposing teams have gotten pressure on him. If he has time, he will cut the Steelers to pieces.

 

Friermuth is out Sunday and likely longer. He’s scheduled for an MRI after re-aggravating his hamstring injury on Thursday. Not good.

Watt was back today, so that’s a positive.

 

Ugh. Looks like Freiermuth aggravated his hamstring in practice. He is likely to miss the Rams game and more.

Good on TJ. Get Washington a few catches and we know he'll block, unlike Freirmuth. Hopefully get something out of Heyward as well Sunday.
