I would never. But if you ever live in central PA you'll see what I mean about peanut butter. If you're in a baked goods area, anything offered with frosting must include a PB variety. Two-pack Jif 40oz PB is prominently displayed during the holiday baking season. There are six-pack cinnamon rolls with PB icing. PB ice creams (which are admittedly marvelous) are in abundance in frozen sets.

I've always found it interesting how certain areas have particular foods/preferences. Like Cincinnati and goetta.

 

The "food preferences" have a direct correlation to the "obesity %" of the population as well.

No, I've lived in these areas. They actually don't. Some know how to live in moderation, unlike you with your juvenile commentary.

Yeah, Hershey is close enough to be classified central PA. (I lived in State College, so I considered it more southeastern.) Makes me wonder which came first, the peanut butter cup, or the obsession with peanut butter.

Pickled red beet eggs, scrapple, and birch beer were among other favorites in that region.

The closest Costco or Sam’s club to me is 50 miles and we don’t get over that way much. As a matter fact I try to avoid both areas as much as I possibly can due to congested traffic.
