I know I'm the only one, but I like how they are slowly bringing JPJ along. I really like the kid, and I don't want to see what happened to A urns to happen to JPJ. Also We need more than one good CB.

 

Beck we got rid of 3 guys playing pretty well for their current teams. Sutton, Witherspoon and Maulet. Maybe it's who is coaching them here.

 

I get that while at the same time I think he needs to be in the game more. A couple snaps doesn't cut it for me.

He will make mistakes, but I think he will learn from them and not destroy him. He's got Joey Sr. in his corner he'll be fine.

 

In the second half of Ravens game it felt like he was in about a third of the time, that feels about right as a minimum.

 

If only Dan Snyder was still in the league.

Trade Canada. No PLAYER (s) will make the difference. our coaching sucks - both sides.

Lynn Swann and John Stallworth would not help this offense.
Rod Woodson would not help this defense - b/c of our dumb coaches and schemes.

I like Jaycee Horn from the Panthers. He's under contract for this year, and a 5th year option for next season. He's dealt with some injuries so he may come at a bargain price. JPjr on one side, with Jaycee Horn on the other could be special.

 

Gunner? He should fetch at least a 3rd rounder.

Well they are playing OK. If You look at what they've done it's not heads better than here also some are playing with better Dbs with them. I would have kept Sutton.

 

I think the Steelers are moving forward with Pickett as the man, but I understand your position. There is never anything wrong with holding onto draft picks. It is still the best way to build your roster and players with affordable contracts.

Pickett is a continuing evaluation. It is difficult to really know everything we need to because of the system he is playing in, but your point has merit.

I hope that they figure some things out, get completely healthy, and be ready to go on a roll coming out of the bye week. The rest will play itself out.

I don't think they would move off of Pickett that soon, I think you have to wait until year three with a new OC to accurately judge him IMO. And it's not like the Steelers would have a shot at the top two QBs in the draft, they might draft one in the mid rounds.

JMO, but we don't know either way about KFP, but we do know we need another CB, and We do know PS2 is pretty dang good. You can never have too many good CBs

 

We could use a trade for the OC position. Heck, bring someone up from a local high school. Can't be any worse. Canada is not even mediocre. My big worry is that he will somehow manage to shift blame to others while the Steelers some how eke out a mediocre record that allows him to keep his job. Can't we just trade him?
