Yeah, like when you pointed out there were 32 teams in the league. That was super insightful. So was your mathing out that 25 points is 10 more points per game than 15.

Comparing a 17-game sample to five is clearly invalid, no matter how similar the results may be. Last year the offense started out slow as well - in fact, they averaged 15.4 points over the first five games. You don't see anyone crowing about that 3% scoring increase this year.

The point is no one thinks the offense is doing any better than last season any more than they are "touting" that the Steelers are sitting atop the division right now. Anyone rational fan who has watched the games knows there are a lot of opportunity areas.

This post is less about painting an accurate picture than it is you spewing more of your vitriol about the team.

    Uh, what. No. It's satire.

Your arguments are rife with non-sequiturs: "Dino Tomlin got a football scholarship at Maryland while Matt Canada was there. Matt Canada was hired by Mike Tomlin. Therefore Matt Canada was only hired because he game Mike Tomlin's son a football scholarship."

I'm just hoping once DJ returns, Gunner is made obsolete. He's touched the ball 4 times this year, has two fumbles and that toe tap kickoff return that cost us 32 yards.

No, not statistically. We are 30th in yards and in scoring.

Your simplistic banter and understandings are sad, nothing short of sad. Go live in your world of delusions and fantasy and stop your hatred of those who get the entire picture while you whine in the corner of a dark room with your "blankie." Is there slobber mixed with your tears?

I was looking at that stat a couple days ago, and I mean - you just gotta love that dubious distinction of being the only team with a winning record that has such a lopsidedly negative PF/PA differential.

It really just to goes to show how much of a paper tiger the Steelers are right now, and how just a few key plays are literally the difference between them being at 3-2 instead of 1-4, or worse. Honestly, the Ravens deserve the most credit for the Steelers victory - don't quote me on it, but I think they might have actually broken an NFL record for most dropped passes in a game. They made DJ at his worst look look like he's got super glue hands.

Regardless, this is maybe the most precarious and lucky 3-2, top of the AFC North position as I've ever seen for the Steelers going into the bye. A drought of splash plays from the D or playing rivals who don't screw up as much as the Ravens could derail everything for the next several games, if not the rest of the season. I hope they can do better, but I also wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't. And if getting embarassingly exposed and the season is derailed to the extent that it ends MT's career, then that definitely wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen to this team.

Spot on. It's pointless to argue over running backs when we stick guys in lose lose match ups.

Oh and now the 3rd-grader "I know you are but what am I?" comeback.....brilliant. When you're operating on the level of a 3rd-grader, you know you are up sh-t creek without a paddle. Oh, dear Lord, I am laugh coughing.

I still say it's obvious Warren give us the better chance to produce a big play regardless. And the past week did nothing but strengthen my resolve on this. Najee is simply a plodder, a 1970's back, possibly (but even then, he would never be a legit top RB, there's over 20 RBs I'd take over NH).

Whadaya think, Foster? 'Bout time to hit the road for awhile before showing up with a new handle yet?

I have no idea who "Foster" is, but you are breaking board rules by making unsubstantiated acquisitions. I'm sure you're having trouble keeping up.
