Tomlin's Press Conference

Listening now and if you listen to him, you can hear him essentially saying Canada is not prepared for what we expect to face and clearly saying offense has lost confidence. But further that is troubling is saying in week 1 the defense wasn't communicating well. That is crazy, that is exactly why you play starters longer in preseason to work that crap out. But I like Mike saying the O essentially sucks and is not prepared!! That's my take so far on what he is saying!!

Better be questions on tackling, running game najee vs warren and obviously KFP!!

These reporters suck, first time I actually listened to a full press conference and they just dance around and don't ask straight forward questions:

1. Why do you believe Kenny is performing poorly?
2. What is the problem with the defense's poor tackling?
3. Why is the running game struggling?
4. Talk us through the 2pt conversion play and the 3-1 shotgun option plays being called?
5. Are you satisfied with the play calling by Coach Canada?

 

Michelangelo always had works in progress. Canada is like a chemist, where he is working on formulas to make explosions. He needs to get back to the lab.

 

I know these conferences are a joke, no real questions, Mike talking in tomlinisms so why even have them. It's like an obligation with no real purpose because he's never gonna say, "Yeah, I think Coach play calling and preparation sucks". Save everyone's time and you can actually eliminate some press jobs too because its pointless.

 

1. He’s average at best behind a poor Oline

2. The CBA prevents actual practice. Tackling across the NFL is bad

3. Harris sucks and the Oline is bad

4. Harris sucks, Oline sucks, Canada sucks

5. Who would be? No.
