Not in of itself, but a combination of issues could, i.e. pass rush/tighter coverage than the cupcake teams could lead to and exacerbate poor QB play.

No. I’m done reliving that sh!t show of a game, and am NOT watching another minute of it to figure out which bad play I was referring to. On to the Browns.

I think a lot of it is poor blocking. The o line couldn’t give KP a clean pocket to work with. He had the d linemen or the backs of his o line right in his face. He had very little space to step into his throws - which affects accuracy. The guy was under pressure the whole game. Except the scoring drive where he was in the shotgun and threw quick timing passes.

I don’t know why there were no roll outs or more dump offs to the running backs. This I blame on Canadas inability to adjust to what the niners were doing.

compare the film to KP’s preseason performance. In the preseason he had clean pockets and more space to step into his throws - more accuracy. Last year he scrambled more to create space to make his throws. This time he tried to hang in the pocket more. Maybe the coaches told him to do that.

Meanwhile Purdy had all day to throw but that’s another topic I guess.

I never trusted the QB pick after having watched him at Pitt. Kenny was a pretty average qb his first couple years at Pitt. He had one decent year. His college resume is worse than the two qb ‘s backing him. Frankly, if he didn’t go to Pitt, and the Steelers didn’t have a history of passing on the other Pitt HOF qb, there was no way Pickett would have been selected. Emotion over logic and now the reality that Pickett is just very pedestrian.

I know the play you're referring to and you're right. There are other examples too.

Commenting on paused game film leaves the term 'open' open for interpretation.

Disaster all around. My only point to Scribe is I don’t see what Canada could have done to change the outcome of that disaster.

All 22 doesn't show if open receivers are available to the QB.
This type of video does, just as an example.
(probably have to watch on youtube)

Cool effects but doesn’t dispute anything about Robinson being open. You can look at the still I posted as well as the live clip. The All 22 is the coaches film, it’s what they look at to correct and improve on things that went wrong in the game. Are you trying to make the argument 32 teams are doing it wrong?

Here's then difference, 32 teams know what they're looking at, a bunch of geezers on a football fan website don't.

total failure team wide. cleats to the reads both of kenny, the receivers, the line, the defense, the coaching, the equipment guy, conditioning. tough opener for this team. hope they get their heads out of their rears sooner rather than later.

Exactly, it can and does happen to every team.
It's the trend that's the real problem.

Lame. Don’t project your cluelessness onto other fans.

If you can’t look at that clip I posted and see he is wide open that’s a you problem.

Horrible game to go to. Didn't get harassed too much as most probably felt bad for me. Sproles killed us that game 1 being like a 70 yard screen pass for a TD.

He was pressured all game, the few times he wasn’t he was already pressing and out of sync. No one can continuously stay accurate under that much pressure.

    Not surprised personally.

Same evaluation I had on him after the game. Now, Canada still is an issue but Kenny last Sunday was a problem. Play calling is one thing but execution is another all together.

Kenny has to bounce back tonight. No excuses. If not.... this team is in for a long ass season.
