    With Diontae Johnson being injured and we know Pickens can pout about not getting the ball, it's time for him to show he can be the #1 WR.

    Pickens is frustrating because of his occasional antics.

    Tomlin likes to talk about the “standard”. There is a word for when you fall short of a standard……accountability.

    5 catches on 7 targets. 1 almost TD but didn't get both feet down. I agree with Pickens. He SHOULD get 20 targets a game. That guy is a phenom. Throw him the ball!!

    Better than him smiling and joking on the sideline like some guys (Claypool?) have done in the past.

    Whole team should be visibly upset about that turd burger they laid.

    The guy is full of talent for sure. The coaches need to design plays that exploit his talent. Not every catch should be a contested catch

    I saw that and think I had posted it under the Chubb thread earlier today. Make them one dimensional and surely we can slow Chubb/Watson down.

    How come our players have to have contested catches where other teams WR's seem to run freely? Poor
    play design.

    I posted that clip in one of these threads. Looked like he said something along the lines “I like the brother but this ain’t it”

    Sounds like he is talking about Canada and the game plan.

    He runs mostly go routes, corner routes and post routes, those are space clearing routes to help open up plays for other receivers. Pickens doesn’t garner a large target share. He’s basically being used as a decoy. A tremendous waste of talent and a complete failure by Canada.

    Pickens would be an absolute monster in a better offence that has a downfield passing game. His frustration is very understandable. All he does is make plays when he is targeted.
