The Blame game

OMG!!! I am LMAO!!! Thanx for the therapy to ease the salt in my wounds over losing a bet to a Dallas fan, that I have a running bet during the season on who will have the best record at the end of the year.
Loser has to drive 3 hours plus, to the winner`s house, and buy the beer for the "celebration party".(For those who haven`t already heard me rant about this...)
Even after giving up games to the bottom feeders of the league... I still thought this could be the game that gave me the edge on that bet.
(And I will claim guilt for A.B.`s fumble, `cause my dumb ass, picked the minute right before it happened, to call, and give him hell, about how he liked seeing all those Towels in his house!!!)
Anyhow, he had texted before the game started, and asked if I wanted to make a "side bet", on just this game.
I said "Sure! Ten bux?"
So, today, I mailed him his ten dollars in pennies...
Can`t wait to hear his reaction to that!!! LOL!!!
Cost me 8 bux to mail, but it will be worth it!
All this, is a preface, to the "betting man" comment, that the O.P. made...
I`m not sure how to go back to the first page, without losing what I just typed, so I will remind him...
"I will bet you... whatever... That next training camp will focus on practicing FUNDAMENTALS"....
I would take that bet, since I remember that Tomlin`s first year as coach, he focused an extensive amount of training camp, on special teams, since that was what he percieved as the weakest area on the team...
It really didn`t show, during the season.
I give him credit for trying, but...
You really shouldn`t have to focus on teaching fundamentals, to multi-million dollar "professionals", that have been doing this their whole life.
Either they get it, or they don`t... Just ask Heath...
Ya think he has to be reminded about the "fundamentals???

Do you remember that game a few seasons back when the team left Heinz field at half time and the fans were booing, and Ben made a speech at half-time about how tired he was of them letting down the fans (or something like that)? That gets reported as being a big turning point in their attitude and energy, which was then picked up by the fans. We could do with an event like that now. Well, actually, we could have done with an event like that two weeks ago, but still.

 

WE need PLAYMAKERS! Especially defensive playmakers,
Aldon Smith JJ WATT, people that can rush the PASSER.
