Kenny holds on to the ball way to long. His reads were off. And overthrew a lot of receivers. He did not look like the quarterback we had in the last 7 games last year.

If muth wants to get paid he really needs to improve his inline blocking.

Thanks for posting this. This is why I said you have to watch the All 22. People making claims based on things they can’t see watching the game live.

Maybe Kenny just had a really bad game but man, watching that makes me really think he was in a mental fog after he hit his head on the turf. So indecisive, so much hesitation and when he did fire he was way off the mark.

Canada does suck though, those play designs are awful. That designed roll out with those routes put him in such a bad position to make the throw.

The first interception that was meant for DJ would have been a TD if it was a go route, with a good throw obviously which was no guarantee the way Pickett played but Canada has a fascination with sideline routes.

I still maintain that Pickett's 1st int was not his fault..... if DJ hadn't slipped, he was in position to make the catch right in front of the defender.... that was beyond anyone's control. (On a side note, I do believe that slip played a small part in DJ's later injury)

That's not even true. He had people open before that. He just had more people open later. Unless You mean going down 7 points is in a hole.

This was not meant to say ....listen to the Guy talk....it was to show people that apparently from what they are saying didn't watch the game. You can fast forward from play to play.

If You watch He has a much more open target on that same play, and not as hard of a throw, but He just doesn't see it.
I dislike Canada very much, and never wanted Him hired....hell a good many people on Here said I was wrong....but No OC can make You see the open Guys. He can only scheme them open.

He does a good job but he needs to upgrade his equipment so he can draw on it. Thats probably just a personal preference by me, some may like it better the way he broke it down.

I like the guy from the QB School and the in depth breakdowns he gives.

Agreed. It was said to Him about the equipment for that, but He's just a small guy starting out. I remember when He had like only 25 people watching. I don't always agree with Him, but those plays show all You need to see, and I appreciate him post it.

Good stuff. Pickett was worse than I thought. . Bad throws, bad reads, Rushing throws when he didn't need to. Missing open WR's. There were a few breakdowns at the LOS but less than I thought originally.

Pickett seemed to not trust his own eyes. He clearly saw wide open WR's but didn't throw it. Other times he was rushing the ball when he had time to let the play develop. I see why Tomlin says he'll be better...because frankly he looked like a rookie 4th round pick out there.

There were not a lot of pass plays that didn't work because of other issues. If we were able to score it would have opened up the running game. I was a little surprised how much attention the Niners were giving the deep zones. After watching that film I wouldn't expect that against the Browns. Expect better coverage in the short and mid zones. I'd also blitz Kenny more. He panics.

That game reminded me of the 2008 Philly game when everything went wrong and the team just seemed overmatched. Here is hoping we bounce back this week.

You may be thinking 2016 a 34-3 drubbing. In 2008 they only beat us 15-6.

2020 was probably Claypool's best game in NFL. It was against Eagles and this board was pumped about him.

I wonder if the 49er Defense was the best he’s seen in his life.

I was thinking 2008 in that the O was particularly inept and their D ran over us.

I'm gonna file this one under the "put away and don't ever watch" category. I can't bear watching it again. The pain, the horror! Kind of like the '94 Championship game against the Chargers. That one is packed away deep, never to return again.

On the first INT what the hell route concept is that?

You motion a guy over then every route ends up being right of the hashmarks on the same side. Was Pickens supposed to keep crossing and settle where he did or was he supposed to fake it? Or was Robinson supposed to keep coming? Something doesn't look right. Kenny can't make that throw there though.
