Wow…and there were those promoting him as potentially the Steelers top pick last year. Dodged a bullet there. I guess this somewhat explains why the Panthers let him go after only one season. At any rate, he’s got a lot of talent and I pray he gets his life together.

Because hes a talented QB. You can’t predict stuff like this though when there were no warning sighs prior.

Some way some day people will realize that being able to run quickly, and throw far doesn't make You a talented Qb....it make You a good athlete. Big big difference. Example the fastest, and strongest armed Qbs have a history of what???? Hint....it's not winning SBs.

Since when is Corral like Richardson? If you don’t think Corral has talent as a QB I don’t know what to tell you.

Bradshaw had a strong arm and was a very good runner, but he is probably the exception to the rule.

But there were prior signs in college. He had some alcohol and other behavioral issues that left many speculating that that’s why he fell to the third round.

Bradshaw would also be out if the league if He took as long to get good as He did then, and everyone knows it. Running , and strong arm are icing on the cake , but so many people think it's the cake today.

Another ....nobody's waiting that long for a qb today. He didn't have a very strong arm ....it was ok. People love to bring up Him running. You know when He finally won a SB......when He had one of his lowest rush years ever. Coincidence???? I think not. Also his highest rushing year wasn't much more than 500 yards....We got multiple Qbs do that in 4 games....He is the 1st to tell You it took Him forever to learn to play from the pocket. Most Qbs run because they can't see the field, and panic. That's why almost all rookies , and young Qbs run a lot. Then the good ones started really seeing the field, and throw . Who in their right mind would rather run 40 yards, and take multiple hits, or throw 40. I don't give a F**k how fast you run....even I can throw a 40 yard pass faster than anyone in the NFL can run 40 yards. It simply play smarter, or play harder.
Also this I can definitely promise You....No Wr really likes a Qb that runs a lot.
One final note....Out of all the Qbs the fastest, and strongest arms I've ever seen....Cam Newton, Mike Vick, Culpepper, Lamar Jackson, J. Allen, and J. Fields all have what in common???
Slowest , and not a rocket among them.....Brady, Mannings , J. Montana , Ben, and Patrick Mahomes all have what in common???? Multiple SBs.

They wont listen dude, owners or fans! I prefer a qb that stays in the pocket but also has enough mobility to move out of trouble. How many SB did Vick, Cunningham and others win? Zero zilch nada. Someone will bring Mahommes up, and they will say he runs a lot, but he doesnt. He will stay in pocket as long as he can to wait for an open rec.
i agree 100% with you dude

This 100%. I think the most He has ever rushed for in a year is like 380 yards. I think J. Fields had that this week. LoL

Running qbs are great in college, but NFL is a whole different level.Doesn’t equal success. Wait for it…3.2.1 well what about Lamar Jackson he won an MVP? Dont get you nothing but a cup of coffee as he won what 1 playoff game? But guess what he can run!

He fell because of injuries. Never saw any of what you claim. I did see where he refused to sit out the bowl game because he didnt want to leave his teammates in the lurch which he ended up getting injured in. Yeah you’re right, what an awful characteristic.

You’re a legend in your own mind.

That dropped on draft night, Jack. And Ian got ripped for reporting that because all it amounted to was he drank and liked to party in HS. Shocker!

There are also reports that he had maturity issues when he got to Ole Miss but grew into a leader. Isn’t personal growth what we look for in people?

I noticed you skipped how he played in the bowl game when every other QB opts out and ditches their teammates.

The point was, this stuff was hardly common knowledge to fans, the earliest I found were some things coming out the week of the draft and what I did learn was hardly anything earth shattering. Normal kid stuff.

Geez, Blast, I’m not nearly as passionate about this as you seem to be. Okay, he’s a good kid that just drank too much in high school. And it’s good that he played in the bowl game. Happy now?;):lolol:
