I think Loudermilk and Muse stay instead of Kwiatoski and Fehoko. Gunner goes and Gentry stays. Gentry is first cut for position of need. I do agree they find another CB. The pass rush will need to put pressure on the QBs to keep Peterson's passer rating under a 100. He looks a step slow.

I think they keep Muse for his Special Teams ability.

Do we kick the tires on Greedy Williams? Seems like a low risk, high reward move.

Muse has been the better linebacker and special teamer than Kwiatkowski. I don't think it is realistic to expect him or Loudermilk to make it to the practice squad.

I thought Muse was OK, Kwiakowski was better in my opinion then he hurt his shoulder. Loudermilk should make the PS because his development is slow and he’s Too one dimensional…

A couple of the many YT steeler channels have said the rumor mill has Omar seeing if there is any interest in Adams. Rumors usually amount to nothing, but Omar is a different cat, so we will see.

My point was that I don't think they will be able to sign either guy to the practice squad. I hope I'm wrong in Muse's case. Loudermilk's, too, if they cut him.

I will though I think they only keep 5 WRs, and only 4 ILBs, also keep just 2 NTs.

There is absolutely no doubt over the past 48 hrs The trade market was and is being probed heavily by the Steelers. Why cut when a late rd draft can be had???

Im also expecting a move for another corner!!!

I kinda hope not. No reason to expect Williams to be healthy or a quality player.

Loudermilk’s best asset is his youth. He’s not a starter and not a valued ST’er. It’s all a gamble and of course there may be a team out there who signs him to their 53 for depth purposes only…….. I’d that that gamble because losing him isn’t a big loss.

I have no problem with letting Loudermilk go. He is a decent run defender, but doesn’t show much rushing the passer. I still think some team would take a shot on him. Maybe they can trade Adams.

    I can't imagine them keeping 5 safeties.

S- Fitz, Neal, Kazee, Killebrew, Thompson

Keep Killebrew for the special teams, but you have to let Thompson go. Maybe can sign him back to the practice squad.

I get it. I enjoyed Thompson’s preseason, So I kept him and it’s not uncommon for them to keep 5 safeties. He’s a Football Player, can cover and will HIT!!!!

Thompson certainly has a shot. Aside from the final DL spot , the biggest decisions come across position groups. Thompson, Olczewski, and Pierre are likely fighting for a spot or two. Do we keep Gentry or an extra OL? Outside help at Center? Kwiatkowski and Roche potentially are duking it out for the 53... I think about 85% of the roster is pretty set in stone. Its just about which 7-9 guys round the team out.

    Locks - 44
    QB - KFP, Trubisky, Rudolph
    RB - Harris, Warren, McFarland
WR - Pickens, DJ, Robinson, Austin III
    TE - Freiermuth, Heyward, Washington
    T - Moore, Chuks, Jones
    G - Seumalo, Daniels, Herbig
    C - Cole
    DT - Benton
    DE - Heyward, Ogunjobi, Leal
OLB - Watt, Highsmith, Golden, Herbig
ILB - Holcomb, Roberts, Alexander, Robinson
CB - Peterson, Wallace, Porter Jr., Sullivan, Riley
S - Fitzpatrick, Neal, Kazee, Killebrew
    ST - Boswell, Harvin, Kuntz

    Bubble - 13
    WR - Boykin, Olczewski,
    TE - Gentry
    OL - Anderson, Cook
    DL- Adams, Fehoko, Watts, Loudermilk
    ILB - Kwiatkowski
    OLB - Roche
    CB - Pierre
    S - Thompson

9 of those 13 guys should make the initial roster. 4 will be cut. Sure, some are more likely than others to be included... but I think that is the list. If I had to guess:
Boykin, Olczewski, Anderson, Cook, Adams, Watts, Loudermilk, Kwiatkowski, and Pierre make it. Gunner, Cook, Loudermilk, and Pierre being the "last 4 in" with the highest potential of the bunch of not making it.

I was playing off the rumor that they were trying to deal Adams. I certainly wouldn't. I'm not a fan.

Well, I got close , they kept Loudermilk instead of Fehoko………

    and they kept Two Punters!!!!

A move will happen Wednesday , wonder will they sign a ILB, CB, Center……… doubt they bring back Fehoko and kinda surprised they weren’t able to trade him for something!!!!!

All part of Matt Canadas master plan. Triple reverse using dual Punters in a wishbone formation. League will never see it coming.

They run the triple reverse with both punters but instead of running around the end, the punter dazzles the defense with the shovel pass to the fullback on third down and 17. :lolol:
