I am still holding out hope to see a free agent RB come to town.

Benny is practicing in Denver and I just read somewhere that Zeke may be going to Kansas City.

Also holding out hope for Myles Jack and Derek Watt to be signed right before comp begins.

We have a solid 1-2 punch in Harris and Warren. McFarland is still on the roster and Alfonso Graham is making some noise. I say we are OK

 

After Harris, and Warren....they better be good at special teams if they want a hat on game day. Best way for them get one .

 

They could likely fish the unsigned free agent pool for another third string back that's a ST warrior IF one of the ones they already have isn't the answer. I'd hate to see them waste money on an overweight, unhappy Fournette or a clapped-out Elliott. And the hell with Hunt. He's a punk. IF Snell is still available and they are uncomfortable with the room after Harris and Warren, then bring him back.

LeVeon Bell was an All-Pro RB, and he wasn't explosive or had a lot of 20 yard runs .

Hell Bell only had 8 in his 1st two years, and He had a better OL, a HOF Qb at the top of His game, and 2 feared Wrs. Nothing makes Me believe Najee wouldn't have done as well back when Bell played.
Example: Najees 3 over 20 came with a old Ben.
D. Williams said it the best when He led the league in rushing when L. Bell was suspended. Of course I can run with this team.....nobody is keying on Me....He also said wait till L. Bell plays with the Jets, and He is who they are keying on.....I'd say He was proven correct.

 

Steelers interested in signing Hunt? Says the info is from the same site that broke the rumor that Myles Jack would be singing with the Steelers last year.

Hunt would definitely be an improvement over McFarland. Hunt is currently 27 years old.

 

Hunt would certainly help the team but that video of him knocking down a teenage girl and then stomping on her would make it really hard to root for him.

 

I would be willing to give Hunt whatever we are going to save on Gunner's contract when he gets released.

I'm still embarrassed about the Steelers having Michael Vick for a couple years. The standard ain't the same standard it once was.

I just watched the TMZ longer version of the video and it is worse than I remember. There were Hunt, 2 of his friends and 3 girls in a hotel lobby having a heated discussion. Hunt threw a jab and knocked the 19 year old girl to the floor. She got back up only to have him bull rush her and send her flying against the wall. She hit her head against the wall and fell to the floor and didn't move for a few seconds. She then was able to sit up but still dazed from her head hitting the wall. Not content to stop there Hunt went over and kicked her in the face as she was sitting on the floor dazed. After that the rest of the group pulled Hunt away before he could do further damage. Yeah I don't care if he rushes for 2,000 yards a season, I don't want him to be a Steeler.

Don't know how they could pull off signing Cook. I'd be all for it, not sure how Najee would feel about it, though. I want nothing to do with Hunt. He's a POS.
