I think he is a total jackass but I don’t think that should be a factor in voting

On the field vs off the field

Although all on field should be counted including his actions at the end of his Steelers career plus Oakland New England and Tampa Bay

Yep. While he was a particularly extreme case of jackassery, if off-field issues were taken to into account I'd imagine the HoF might get emptier.

I am lost why would the Hall of Fame voters be talking about Brown now? And, after reading the article; What Hall of fame Voters is this guy talking about?

Should this article headline be "I" am talking about Brown's Hall of fame.

Is this the Writer's big quote?

Amazing talent and awesome stats but he lacks the longevity. I don’t think he gets in because of his reputation will overshadow everything.

Ray Edward got in with murder charges down in GA. So they understood off the field vs on the field. Au they should understand that again.

I guess throwing Gatorade coolers, starting fights with Dick Lebeau, burning His feet so no training camp for the Raiders, attacking their GM, and coach, leaving in a game in Tampa, calling their coach names, and taking off his uniform while a game is going on.....is all considered off the field????

Marvin Harrison anyone? I am pretty sure we was still on the team when all his craziness started happening.

But the prime and peak matter...Calvin Johnson is a first ballot HOF.If AB is not in the HOF soon,it will not be because what he did on the field

AB without the off field stuff is probably a first ballot hall of famer, he had a 5-6 year stretch where his stats were phenomenal and he was arguably the best in the league. Nobody could cover him

Voters aren’t supposed to consider off the field stuff but AB’s case is so extreme that it almost has to factor. I think he will get in eventually though. He was too good not to
