Squint your eyes, cock your head yo the left a bit and start scrolling, don't slow down for anything over a sentence long and you can power through the first 50 pages pretty quickly.

Apparently a lot since the owners and league exploring allowing the 3rd string QB to be active on game day and not count against the total active players due to poor product when the emergency QB who is also a wr or TE or whatever. Basically incentive to have a serviceable 3rd string QB instead of a place holder.

If a team offered 3 first rounders and 3 2nd rounders for cam and tj would you do it?

Purdy was No. 3 behind Lance and Garrapolo, and the 49ers' season definitely was not over once he was in there.

That isn't realistic, but maybe spread out over two years. It would be difficult to look at that as anything but giving up on 2023, anyway, especially because it is too late to invest most of the savings in this year's free agency.

Maybe if you could go back and get that offer before this year's free agency period started, they might have to consider it. Then they could have spent that money on free agents to help fill the massive holes they had just created on defense.

you got me there, i was thinking later in the year, in Philly.

They got Purdy for free, basically - is what I was in part alluding to.

but, yes, he was the #3 in September!

Of course. We love those two but... Cam is almost done and they cost a huge amount of money. A few years of TJ's peak is worth numerous high picks.

Only if one of them was used on Bo Callahan.

If the Browns don’t guarantee Lamar Jackson $250 million, are they even the Browns?

If someone offered 2 x first rounders plus a second just for TJ I’d have to consider it and lean towards doing it.

So like Baker Mayfield, Terrell Edmunds, and maybe Chase Claypool for Watt you'd think about it?

How about Trey Lance, Sam Darnold, and Matt Jones? That's 3 1sts and QB's to boot so they have more value. Otherwise they might try to throw Zeke Elliott in there and he has some wear on those tires.

A scenario like that would also tell our players that if they achieve great things and turn into great players and face-of-the-franchise leaders, we’ll treat them like currency. Some players are just off limits to trading in my view.

It looks like they used the first image from this meme. I don't think he has small hands. It's just the odd photoshop.

I would say barely. And for his 4 mill extra cap hit, if wisely spent on another need, I’d roll with Mitch instead.

Correct. Then they should be trying to trade him now for some valuable compensation to help the cap or for picks in the draft (4th or 5th round) while the iron is still hot.

Waiting too long and we will lose even more of his meager value.
