I guess I'd hate to see who they are going to sign is FA for theoretically less money than Sutton got.

They might get lucky with who is available, but they might not.

Wallace is a decent #2 or #3 CB. Steelers desperately need #1 caliber CB. Haden was the last #1 CB for Steelers... and he was drafted by the Browns.

Well of course We don't want to reach...., but We.... as of now ...have no starting CB. I would say that is a huge priority . Unless people just want to prance backup CBs out against....KC, Bengals, and Bill for now on.

You are right about that often being the case, but Hargrave had a career year for a team that made it to the Super Bowl, so he was going to get a big payday.

 

If they sign Edmunds for a larger contract than what Sutton got, my reaction will be unpleasant.

 

It's a good thing for the Steelers that this is a deep draft for CB. They could take Porter at #17 then pick Dawand Jones or a lineman like that at #32 and come back with another CB like Forbes at #49.
