Morricone is one of My Favorites ever....,I already told You this. I actually approached playing the Guitar they way I do because of His work in films.
So I dig hearing Muse redo some of His stuff.

Yeah, I had no idea that they do this live, so I was pretty excited the instant I heard the first harmonica note.

He was always great to watch. I will tell you that on Hee Haw as corny as that show was they had some GREAT music on it at times. I'm glad you liked him.

Roy was great. I remember as a kid I was into the TV show Emergency. It came on after Hee Haw, and I wasn’t into the show but even as a little tyke I was like “damn that guy can PLAY”

That song probably has the most tasteful use of sweep arpeggios that I’ve ever heard. Using them in the song structure, under the vocals rather than just wanking.

Best concert I ever saw and it was somewhat late in their career in mid-late 90's. Flawless from first note they played on through 3 encores. I went to see ELP who led off for JT and they were dismal and sadly Greg Lake had completely lost his amazing singing ability by then and merely grunted his lyrics. Saw Ian Anderson with a new band about 5 years ago and he too had lost most of his vocal talent. Great seeing the old stars but sometimes they just don't have IT any longer. :guitarplayer:

When my dad heard the opening piano he said finally you are listening to some good music

I looked at him and said just wait
