I think its pretty clear that CB, DL, OL, and ILB will be featured pretty heavily with our roster as it currently sits. FA will change this of course, but I'd imagine we get linked with lots of guys at those positions. OLB will get some mid/late round love too.

I have really mixed feelings about Porter Jr.
Part of Me wants Him, but part of Me doesn't.
So I guess if We get Him...I be cool with it, and if We don't I'll be cool with it.
    Hey!!!!
    A win win. LoL

Gervon Dexter DL from Florida made a good impression today. At 6'6" 313 lbs he had a broad jump of 9'2", vertical of 31" and has previously been clocked at 4.88. He should be a solid 3rd round pick for someone.

Wow Calijah Kancey from Pitt just ran a 4.63 forty. The fastest 40 time for a DT in 20 years.

One ....I haven't really watched Him...
    Two....Name ....
I'm scared of Love of the name.
Example: Only on this board have I really even heard anyone talk about Him....., or it's a link to the Steelers that come up.
Kind of like Dan Marino. LoL
Doesn't mean He isn't good. Like I said .....I could be happy either way.

    Personal favorite tweet so far:

STD should be happy to hear this.
    The list, incomplete, is:
    Joey Porter Jr.
    Clark Phillips
    Brian Branch
    Julius Brents
    Ji'Ayir Brown
    Christian Gonzales.

These are only ones who talked with the Steelers (most mentioned Tomlin) and mentioned it in their press conferences.

Trent Simpson 6'3" 235lbs, but did not run his posted 4.39. His best run of the day was 4.43.

I thought he would blow up to a top 10 if he broke the 4.40 barrier. May need to settle for a top 17 pick. :)

Is Campell at #49 still an option? I didn't expect him to be so nimble for such a big guy.

He just ruined our 49 chances. I'm thinking 32 now :(

Disappointed in you Campbell. Tot i told you to hide the talent this week. I guess your money was more important than my dreams :p

Gonzalez has some serious upside. I don’t think he’ll be available at 17, but if he is there, he needs to be on our radar.

I’m a big believer in pedigree. While everyone was saying pretty much the same as you about TJ Watt I was arguing how important that is. Those players have a step up on other rookies that have nothing to prepare them for the NFL.

Besides all that, the kid is good. Now we know the world has been turned upside down when I am arguing for a CB in the first and you aren’t.

Adetomiwa Adeboware who is really a DLineman that plays all over the line ( including DT) ran a 4.49. he is 6'2 282. In short same size as Kancey.

I'm surprised this isn't getting as much hype. He ran with the Edge rushers. But dude is a legit 3-4 DE. That's insane.

Considering what he did at the Senior Bowl to the Gaurd Patterson and almost ran him off camera in 1 v 1 practice... I can see him going in the first now... Perhaps to us at 32?

Saw a story about a defensive end, 281 lb, who just ran a 4.49 40. That is not human! On the other hand, if you are dependent on your defensive end running 40 yards something has gone terribly wrong. It may be like a punter bench pressing a record weight, just not that relevant.

Jack Campbell just blew up the combine yesterday with his incredible numbers. At 6'5", 37.5 vertical and 34" arms that's 12 and a half feet he can leap up and knock a pass down. That makes a pretty tight window for a QB to throw to.

I saw on the NFL Network that he grew up in Kansas City and is a huge Chiefs fan. They mentioned that he could land with the Chiefs at pick #31.
