Burrow, Herbert and presumably Lawrence will all be next. Hurts as well I believe.

Yeah Brady threw a game losing pick. All the Charger DB had to do was fall down and the game was over but for some reason he tried to return it and fumbled. The Pats then scored to win the game and then the Superbowl that year. That was one of many times Brady was granted magical second chances. The ridiculous tuck rule call, Russell Wilson throwing a pick from the one yard line, the Falcons with a 28-3 lead taking only a few seconds between snaps and throwing the ball all over the place and of course the criminal call against Jesse James.

Pats had more than their share of breaks over the Brady-Belichick years. Tuck rule. The Chargers game. Stupid Pete Carroll throwing for the end zone and more I'm sure I'm forgetting.

As far as Marty Schottenheimer, I always thought he got a bad rap. He built good teams that won. As someone else alluded to he was just snake bitten in the playoffs. He was a damn fine football coach, and I personally always had a lot of respect for him.

At this point, they might as well run Justin Herbert outta there too!

They'll let Bosa and Ekeler go first.

    Well!!...

I suppose Justin Herbert is sadly destined to become "Phillip Rivers 2.0" at this point. Brandon Staley simply is not it and Spanos is an idiot. Hell Santee... I would even imagine Derwin James himself wanting out of there as well!!... just doubt he would want to play for the Steelers though..

... LA Rams?!?! He and Jalen are essentially brothers at this point.

Spanos most definitely is an idiot but, the "Charger way" goes bac further than the Spanos'. Just off the top of my head, the list of players who were let go whether they wanted it or not include:
    Lance Alworth
    Bob Babich
    Fred Dean
    Louie Kelcher
    John Jefferson
    John Carney
    Drew Brees
    Junior Seau
    LaDanian Tomlinson.
Add to that, never getting a coach like Don Coryell a decent defense and firing a future HOF coach after going 14-2?
    Cleveland West!

Will be interesting to see if he can get Russ cooking. cost them the first rounder

The Saints will receive the Broncos' 2023 first-round pick (No. 29 overall) and 2024 second-round pick for Payton and the Saints' 2024 third-round selection, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Is that the 1st round pick they got for Chubb?

I ,like it. Sean Payton has proven he can win with an undersized QB.

I don’t think Russ can cook anymore. Think his kitchen is closed.

You don’t just forget how to play after being as good as he was.

Don Coryell should in the HOF. Think what he accomplished while working under possibly the worst triad of owners: Cards Bidwell, and Chargers Klein / Spanos,

People say no-defense Coryell, but Klein destroyed the Chargers All-Pro defense line: Dean, Kelcher and Johnson all ended up winning SB rings with the 49ers.

    I'm starting to wonder Myself.
Although if this is true, and if Rodgers is also pretty much done....then what people said about Ben not staying in shape like everyone....would be totally wrong.....because He would have played longer , and than a bunch of others.
