Hopefully with more people calling out Belichick, the "Chuck Noll vs Bill Belichick" comps will stop. Belichick is far more totalitarian than others believe. Noll was more idealistic and forgiving than others gave him credit for.

 

True, but I think part of that was Brady wanting the credit for their success all to himself.

 

Not sure many thought he wasn't. I know I didn't. I don't think you gain that sort of success and "stay in line" mentality without having your boot on someone's neck constantly.
