do you all realize how easy this schedule has been, they need impact players at least at 4 positions.

It's a Don Quixote reference. It means you are attacking a straw man. You keep defending something I am not attacking. I never said you did anything "wrong" in the thread. Yet you keep saying the moderator didn't reprimand you. You are like a knight attacking windmills. The windmills aren't fighting you. All I said is your ridiculous claim that Tomlin is an 8-8 coach is just demonstrably false. Completely, and totally, FALSE. Stop trying to defend it and move on.

The coach who got this team to 2-6 should be fired, the coach who got this team to 8-8 should be COY.
    Fair enough.

I'll stop defending what I want when I want.

half the teams in the league SUCK. the schedule is ALWAYS half easy.

We beat 2 playoff teams this year - the Rats and Bungles. and maybe the 3rd - the Panthers.

he stinks in coverage, ALWAYS has. TE's destroy him, get ready for it again this weekend.

and Tomlin keeps assigning him the job.....

Problem is ...with No ILB able to cover....what can You do???
You don't want Minkah doing it all the time, or they will take advantage over the top. So we are kinda stuck this year.

    we are , yes.

Chip him hard at LOS, by 1 or 2 guys. tie him up as long as possible, he owns us every time we play him. Do we have any other persons that can match up with him, I am not sure. Double him and make Watson beat you long w 1:1 WR coverage. Corners - be ready! Take away the RUN and TE, make the WR's beat us.

and......Cana-DUH - put a plan together to score 17 - 21 points in the first half. these FG pansy points are nauseating. and Boswell had returned to 2019 suck form anyhow.....misses or clunks off the crossbars......bad year for him

    Nope

Each team we played was an NFL team

    No game is ever easy

I was wondering about that too. KP didn't start the season or play every game after he did, so the stats would have to reflect that somehow i'd assume.

You more or less contradicted your own statement. This team needs impact players at four positions meaning it has holes all over the place yet the schedule should be easy for them? Add in the fact they are starting a rookie quarterback with a patchwork offensive line and a subpar offensive coordinator and you still think these games should be easy?

i’m gonna step on this landmine. I think in many years we were considered stacked with talent so we were supposed to win. In the years we didn’t some other coach was considered to have out performed. You could make a case with this year battling back to the playoffs but then again we were supposed to have a stacked defense. So just hasn't aligned right for him to win.

I don't think he will be in the running for COTY, Campbell, Sirianni, Shanahan and Pederson are more deserving IMO.

Other than Ben and Andrew Luck who both had winning records as a rookie, those are the only two I can think of that started the majority of their rookie season.

Not as easy as it could have been. They played a second place schedule, which means they played Indy instead of Houston, Los Vegas instead of Denver, and Minnesota instead of the Bears (aka Baltimore's schedule).

Many of those years We were supposed to be stacked at talent We weren't. I remember people talking about How good our Defense was when at times the offense was carrying them, and Defense wasn't even middle of the pack. People for get how bad the D got between those years of Woodley, and Harris to Dupree, and Watt.
