Agreed. I've had a case of assorted beers cooling in the garage for a while- the beer temperature this AM has reached that wonderful point where it's not freezing but it's enjoyably ice cold. Starting on it in just a few minutes (it's 10 am EST here in case you are wondering). Will support it with some snacks later, including some cheese curds.

Long ago I worked at J&L steel night shift

They commonly gave me either Monday and Wednesday off or Tuesday and Thursday

What kind of life could you have with that

I got paid really well though

 

I refused split nights off from ....I think it was Afco steel back in the day, and so.....I just got Sundays off. LoL Dumb Me. LoL

 

During my last unemployment stint I went for a job interview and they told me the working schedule would be Sunday Monday Tuesday dayshift followed by Wednesday, Thursday Friday Midnights. Said the benefits was Saturday off. I laughed and walked out of the interview. Told them no thanks.

 

Still on schedule

 

Now that would be a game day meal!

 

Smoked leg quarters and pig shots.

 

Warm Sour Dough bread, fresh sliced London broil, cooper sharp cheese, homemade horseradish sauce applied generously. Cap cod chips on the side. Coconut cake with shaved coconut over vanilla butter cream icing.

 

We ended up having too many things to do on the way home from church, so we didn’t have time to make anything. We ended up going with pizza today.

 

Only difference is i go back to work tonight. I had 3 drinks so I'll be sober in time for me to go back to work tonight. But damn I want to drink more and is upset that I can't.
