Stats only I care about....

A) the Steelers became the first team since the merger with 500 wins in the regular season. Cowgirls are in second with 479 before tonight's game. Noll- 192, The Chin- 149, Tomlin-159.
B) Pickett has thrown 129 consecutive passes without an interception. That is a Steeler rookie record.

 

A) An incredible feat
B) He's getting better every game

Saw one thing today that with GB beating Chi, they passed the Bears as the Winningest team in NFL history. If you draw the line back there the Steelers are no better than #3. But that counts Pre-1970 games, which I guess contain stats that some don’t care about.

 

B matters because that means the qb is learning to take care of the ball and making good decisions which gives you a chance to win. A falls under your thread title.

 

Was going to post that, but it wasn't Steelers related, so I didn't. Although they didn't pass the Bears, they were tied going into the game at 786. And the Steelers are #4 (Giants are #3) but 130 games behind.

Weird stat #3- The Steelers and Falcons tied the record for most 45+ yd field goals in a game at 5. All in the first half.
