A leader is someone who inspires passion and motivation in followers. A leader is someone with a vision and the path to realizing it. A leader is someone who ensures their team has support and tools to achieve their goals.

Now who on this team is a leader, don’t even think about MT or any of the coaching staff. So that brings us to the FO and players.

    Fill in the blanks.

Cam Heyward. I have been watching the Steelers for over 50 years, he to me has
been one of the best leaders I have seen in my over 50 years.

Total team leader and does good things for local community. 100% effort.

I love Cam but this season he seems to have hit the wall unfortunately. Numbers speak for themself

Because numbers are all that matter. A player never has a positive iMpact unless he shows up on the stat sheet.

In my opinion, being a great leader is important, no doubt, but I'd rather have someone who is a winner. Passion, motivation, support, tools, and a path won't necessarily get you across the finish line without execution and the ability to orchestrate these things, so all are on the same page working together and finds a way to win. Therefore, winners are usually great leaders, but great leaders are not always winners. My 2 cents worth JMO>

Yes Cam is a leader but soft spoken. He is showing age. Still the best D Linemen we have.

Are the captains, due to their designation, the leaders of the team? Is that an accurate statement? To me it should be, but is it and do all agree? Just curious.

I don't want my leader on Twitter crying about his ratings on a video game, pro bowl votes, and why he wasn't ranked Top 50 player in the league. Especially how he's played when Watt goes down or in the playoffs. That's where Cam lost me.

The d is average at best and let the Jets come from behind to beta us. We pay them the highest salary yet they are just ok. Another reason to get new head coach who focuses on o when thats what wins in the league right now. This is not 2008 nfl where you can use amazing d to win. We have a dodo bird obsolete head coach now. Living in the past man.

Yet most of the top Ds make the playoffs year after year, and almost every freaking SB....the team with the best Defense ranking out of the 2 teams win.....Hmmmm:hmm:
Even last year, and the year before, and the year before that.....so I would say that is pretty recent....No???
