Why can't Najee Harris be like Derrick Henry?

Derrick Henry: 6'3 247 pounds. Alabama. Drafted 2nd round, 45 pick overall.
Najee Harris: 6'1 232 pounds. Alabama. Drafted 1st round, 24th pick overall.

Henry is 2" taller and 15 pounds heavier. But Najee was drafted 21 spots earlier.

Henry: Career ypc: 4.8, ypr: 9.0. 10.8 rushing TDs per season over 6 full seasons -- note this includes 2021 where Henry only played 8 games.
Harris: Career ypc: 3.8, ypr: 6.3. 7 rushing TDs in his 1 completed season.

Both the Steelers and Titans are teams with strong rushing attack traditionally. Is it unreasonable to expect Derrick Henry type production out of Najee Harris given his pedigree and higher draft position?

Henry didn't do much till the end of his 3rd year and then he blew up.

Same with SDUD. I’m starting to think they’re the same person or at least know each other and coordinating their posts.

I guess the offense was so scary good last week that there was nothing for him to negatively comment on.

It took Henry a while to get going. Put Harris on a good offense, behind a good line, and he will be a top 5 back IMO

You see those Titan's 1st and 2nd round picks playing for Tennessee on their offensive line? Pittsburgh does not have any of that.

Big game by King Henry tonight. Yeah he's head and shoulders above Najee.

Why can’t Mitch be like Tom Brady or Josh Allen all are over 6 ft and throw right handed ? Also they all play QB and wear cool helmets ?

You need an O line that actually opens up lanes, or an OC that calls better plays. Too many times, Najee runs to where a lane should be, only to be met by a wall of players.

Old Derek looked pretty good last night didn't he? LOL you have to have blocking
    for any Rb to succeed.

That really wasn't the problem Sunday. The lanes were there and he was making poor choices. To be fair, one of the ones people keep showing looks like an RPO and Trubisky should have kept the ball, but Harris missed some huge holes against the Patriots.

Harris doesn’t look right at all this year. Wether it’s injury or lack of confidence or just the offense in general. I don’t know what this team can do to get him going.

I think it is a combination of the injuries and his lack of faith in the offensive line. The former is going to take time, but the latter is fixable.

Yet you think Willis is who we should have drafted. You 100% ignored what Henry does for the titans tonight.

This here just proves you're a wannabe troll and I see right thru it.

Uh, put any RB on good offense, behind a good line and they will look good. A first rd RB should make the OL look better than they are. A first rd RB should make the first guy miss. Those two things are not happening with Harris.

I don't disagree with this, but right now this offense is an absolute mess. It is really hard to evaluate anyone when things are as disfunctional as they are.

I will admit that Najee's play has not been good. Some of it is his fault. Some of it is a product of what's is happening around him.

So are you saying being picked earlier makes Harris taller or are you saying it makes him heavier

Or are you just posting so you can see your avatar on the screen

Been watching Henry since high school, he doesn't try to dance nearly as much as Harris, he is a one cut and go hard runner, something Harris doesn't do.
