Saw this yesterday and thought of my 1st ever steelers game I went to albeit as an adult some drunk behind me threw up the whole 1st half as his friend made fun of him. 2nd half the friend was throwing up. I'm all for raucous crowds to an extent, but with this plus all the fights at games I'm scared to bring my kids to a regular season game. Took them to their 1st game this preseason vs seattle sitting in the 200 level. Paid $65 a ticket when those seats go for 400+ in the reg season. The steelers do have a "no drinking" section I believe in the 120s, but not a huge fan of the view from there.

 

I've been incredibly lit at games. But never to the point of just throwing up in my seat without the capability of making it to the restroom. That's ridiculous that grown adults have zero clue what their limits are.

 

I wonder if the guy in Steeler shirt made her ill

 

That was all over my Twitter feed yesterday. I couldn't avoid it no matter how much I wanted to do so.

 

About 4 years ago, I took my buddy, to the Thursday night game at home against the Panthers.
We were tailgating in the lot met up with my brother and some of his co-workers, one co-worker had a huge bar out the back of this Toyota Rav 4.

Normally I am just a beer guy. My buddy got into the top shelf items a bit much, we didn't really have anything to eat at the tailgate, he just drank. We went to the stadium a little early, I was like here man, eat something. Since I am a stupid freaking idiot, and I had quite a few beers myself, I was like here have a cheese dog. He ate it, we sat down, and he barfed it all up, 5 minutes later. Luckily... no one had sat in front of us yet or he would of blown chunks all over somebody and it would of been bad.

Usher comes around like she was our 3rd grade teacher, and was like awww... is he not feeling good??? I'm like no, she cleans it up, throws down the magic pixie dust and goes away. I thought for sure we get kicked out. I have seen it happen, usually you are puking, your getting removed from the stadium no questions asked. Seen it first hand before. She left him go and cleaned it all up, great lady...

My buddy sat completely passed out his head, in his hands for the whole 1st half of the game, I'm thinking good lord how am I gonna get him back to the vehicle at the end of this game? At half time came he came back to life like the Terminator. We watched about part of the 3rd quarter and we went home, if you remember this game it was like 55-10 Steelers over Panthers. Total odd blow out by Steelers.

Luckily my only and hopefully last puking experience with a friend at a game. I have brought him back and he's been better and just sticks to beer and not hard liquor at the tailgates before hand now. He has a bit of hard time controlling his drinking sometimes....

 

That's nasty. I can't believe the husband of the person in front of her just watched, while his wife got barfed on.

 

So this is where today's society has gone to,. People posting videos of others throwing up,.

 

Could be worse.

Reminds me of a Steeler-49er game in San Jose. A guy sitting in front of me was wearing a 'VA Niner Fan" jersey. He was telling anyone who would listen that he waited years to be able to afford to come see a Niner game in their stadium. Well, he must have been drinking all day. We get about half way through the first quarter and he passes out. He missed 90% of the game.

I never understood why people get wasted at sporting events or concerts. They miss the entire event and don't remember anything after. If they want to get blitzed and pass out, they can do that at home and save the $100-$300 they spent on tickets.

 

Exactly. I was at a Metallica concert in 1988, and a few of My cousins showed up, and somehow snuck in a half gallon of Jack...I don't know how, but by the time Metallica hit the stage.....He hit the floor....so I hung Him over the front rails...so He wouldn't get stomped on....About every 10 minutes I'd have 2 play tug a war with Him between security. Finally they made some women security come over , and promised He wouldn't get in trouble, and they would just lay Him down on a cot in back.
When the lights came on afterwards.....Here He comes trotting over....Great Show He says.....I was like....Whatever dumb A$$.

 

Typical Cincinatti resident. They are truly disgusting. All other fans, I respect. But I've seen too many ******* Cincinatti fans over the years.

 

Yup. Find a damn popcorn bucket or something and help her out. Jesus, pathetic. Poor lady up front couldn't turn around either to see what was going on even if she heard something.

Drunkenness is tolerated, drunken behavior is not

Although, it wasn’t the most adhered to rule
