I enjoyed Campbell on HBO Hard Knocks but I could be changing my tune.

Thanks for article!! I really should subscribe to the PG but my brother-in-law does and I run over once in awhile to read the sports. The pop-ups were driving me crazy trying to read that.

Hardly lol but... He's ALREADY pissed me off! This Guy is just a Clown with the continued dumb S*** he does! Playing Watt ( arguably the BEST player in the League ) that long, when you have young guys trying to be a Hero... STUPID! That was SO close to being a disaster... That's why NOBODY...but him of course does it!

Same thing with Najee...Your main back, actually the ONLY good RB we have, who's been out ALL preseason with a Lisfranc injury...And you're gonna feed him, play him a WHOLE half, behind this OL...WHY!!!!!!!!

Tomlin IS NOT.....a good Coach..Seems like a great Guy, players love him ( again, why not...They can taunt and dance around, and pose, down 4 TD's ) with NO repercussions...

The actual COACHING...X's and O's, Challenges, Clock Management...The Bizzarro **** I already mentioned, that he continues to do...

Not gonna win anything meaningful with this Guy...It's gonna be more and more of the same!

I didn't see any direct quotes from Mike or maybe Dulac is just talking out his behind but let me get this straight.

Mike Tomlin is whining about an onside kick down by 10 points with 30 seconds left on the clock but just last year calls a TO with about 36 seconds left on the clock down by 30+ points to Cincinnati.

MT just makes himself look foolish with this complaint if it is indeed true.

While you are trying to wrap your head around that one you should also take this one for a spin. Last season people were complaining about TJ's hold in and nor getting any team reps or preseason action in claiming he is risking an injury. This season the tune has changed to oh no why are starters still in there risking injury EKkc9alU4AAaTIx.jpeg

Oh my. I remain on the fence about Tomlin. Which is where I always sit. But geez can we play a few games before firing him this year?

We are coming off of a 3-0 preseason, and honestly the team looks a lot better than it did at this time last year.

When Tomlin F's up I will be the first person to point it out. But right now I think this team has a chance to do something. Let's see what happens before we climb the ledge.

The onside kick was garbage and it risked injury to both sides. What’s more garbage was the fact that no one on our side knew what to do. I don’t know who, but one of our guy just stood there hoping the ball would roll out of bound. Danny Smith’s special team in mid-season form

You do realize that might not be the same people, right?

Also, people gain new information. Watt proved last year that he really doesn't need the preseason reps.

In fairness I think people were more worried about all the practice he missed rather than missing the preseason games. He did no hitting or team drills until he signed his deal and I distinctly remember people being worried about soft tissue injuries as he went almost straight from conditioning work straight in to game action.

He was dealing with a niggly groin injury from week 1 and came off in several games, missed another game entirely. Nobody can ever prove the two things are related but I have heard former players say how important practice reps are to get your body ready for the season.

That was Sternberger. He looked like he wasn't allowed to touch the ball.

Crazy. These guys are taught from the age of 8 that the ball is live on a kickoff. Get on the f#$%ing ball.

Yeah, I’m certainly on the fence as well. This is his first season without Ben. Is that goings to make a difference for the better or worse? @S.T.D@S.T.D cover your ears. The knee jerk answer is worse, but Ben was probably more of a drag than a help the past season and a half. He was also pretty hit or miss in big games over the past several years. Most importantly Tomlin had to deal with having a high-ego franchise QB, and the negatives that go along with that. When you have a franchise QB with a big ego, you do things the way that the QB wants to do them. Can Tomlin do better without being bound to Ben, or was Ben propping Tomlin up? I don’t know, but it’s going to be fun to watch.

Tomlin and Ben were propping each other up, like two legs on a 3-legged stool.

I'm a Tomlin supporter, but that never crossed My mind. I have never followed a coach everyone likes.....So that's what I always think. Can't please everyone is what always goes through My mind. I remember people hating on Cowher, and Noll. I don't like , or dislike anyone for their opinions on a coach.

I don't see this being a big deal. If Harris was cleared to play and he wanted to play, why the issue? I'd think that the injury is behind him, and there's nothing to worry about.
