    That's like a 16 footer isn't it. Pretty good boat.
You'll see mainly Rangers, and Skeeters around here.

Shazier really just had one major flaw. His tackling technique was poor. He flew in with his head down. For a while, that just led to the occasional missed tackle, but it was also how he got hurt. I can't help but wonder what might have been if the coaches had been able to get him to fix that. I will always wonder if the injury was preventable. I think it was.

I just watched that play over and over. I don't know if it could have been prevented...but ot does show that this game is indeed a game of inches. It really looks like a routine play, the hit did not look extremely hard..though Amy hit at that speed is of course jarring. It wasn't like the O player was running through him, just seeing him laying there with no movement still puts a pit in my stomach.

Moats is really talking up Robinson.

When an ex-player is hyping up someone that definitely says something.

Max Starks was raving about Robinson on his post game show and named him Player of the Game. He said Robinson just doesn't make the tackle he blows the ball carrier up.

It could have been prevented if he hadn't launched himself at the guy with his head down. That is what led to the compression of the spine. It is a lesson every football player gets by the time they play high school ball, if not sooner. See what you hit. I loved watching Shazier play, but I always worried he was going to hurt himself by tackling with his head down. I hate that it ended his career.

With his head down, leading with the helmet tackling technique, you almost knew that catastrophe was inevitable. It’s amazing to me that he made it all the way to the professional level and that that fatal flaw wasn’t corrected at the high school or college level.

Troy was ultra-aggressive, but his tackling technique was basically fundamentally correct. He tackled head up and normally led with this shoulder and not the crown of his helmet.

Starks, Moats, Vince Williams all talking about Robinson. Vince says Robinson is a better player in his rookie camp then he was. Film doesn't lie.

He still needs work on that part of his game. Last year was his first season at playing LB so he is very raw. One thing though is that he has the desire to learn, you can tell by the way he flies around the field making big hits that he loves the game of football.

That's what I was thinking, too. He did throw his body around and he had some injuries. I wouldn't be shocked if there were some examples of him hitting with his head down, but he wasn't consistently risking his head/spine with his technique the way Shazier did.

Until Robinson learns to cover, I doubt they are playing him over Spillane.
