I did, too. He was damn impressive. I still want to see him consistently get open, every other part of his game is so impressive. I love how he snatches the ball with his hands, the opposite of Claypool. He plays fast and physical. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is starting in the opener.

That's why You bet early on these types of things. Now it would be dumb 2 bet, but in July....it was a great bet.

George Pickens = Randy Moss 2.0

    According to other team's fans.

My cousin is a die-hard Commanders/Redskins fan for life. He asked me why the Foreskins didn't have the draft knowledge to draft Pickens to go along with McLaurin. I said Snyder. What a dipsh!t. He and Jerry Jones are epic failures.

I actually think they listen 2 their fan base 2 much. Ever notice if their fan base get up in arms about something....it usually happens...when the fan base gets up in arms about something in Pittsburgh....they don't care....nor should they. 97% of fans know $hit. LoL

Yeah... Rooneys are not easily swayed by the press or Steelers fan base. Good point.

    Indeed they are.

That said, Dan Snyder is by far the greater of two evils there.

Good story about Snyder: A friend of mine worked for the staffing company that made Steven Biscotti so much money that he bought the Ravens. After buying the Ravens, he had a party at his home on The Chesapeake Bay for the owners around the area. Dan was invited. Biscotti's wife asked "Dan, would you like another hor d'oeuderve? He replied "don't call me Dan, call me Mr. Snyder". She stormed off. Within seconds, Steve Biscotti grabbed him, drug him to the front door and told him to get lost.

    Really?!

He is a far greater petty prick than even I thought! I would have slammed the door if I were Steve. Then again, never stoop to the level of an insidious snake. :drinks:

They said he pushed him out of the house and down the outside steps but I can't confirm.

Maybe... Hopefully.. But aren't yinz getting tired of celebrating the random hidden gem while missing on the picks they need to hit on? We have no o-line. I've been the only person on here screaming to address the online the last 3 years. While we kept wasting picks on more RBs, WRs, and terrible Maryland players. Lets pretend... Pickens is the next AB. Harris is Bell like. Pickett is a more mobile Ben. We have no o-line, linebackers, and corners. Tomlin couldn't win in the playoffs with Ben, AB, and Bell so what's magically going to change with a worse overall roster? It takes years to draft/develop the o-line. That's why teams are usually already working on that before they draft their franchise QB. At this rate we will be lucky to get 1 full season of those 3 in their prime with a solid o-line and defense. Before Pickens goes full AB. Then we still have Tomlin who's a horrible X and O's coach.

First, see jeh's post. He's right. You really are full of it.

I was right there with you insisting they should take Biadasz. I wanted Humphrey last year. So did much of the board. Yes, the line is a mess. Yes, they should have done more to address it. No, you are not the only one who has been talking about the problem before this year.

He has earned starting spot against Bengals, I wish we could have seen more of Austin
in real games. Tough cut down for this group.

Must be something in the water because the Pirates sure the hell don't listen to their fan base and they should.
