I understand rules, equipment, training and conditioning would definitely play a part when comparing g generations. But there are certain athletes who I believe would thrive in any environment. Yea I'm a Homer
. But Mel and Rod are that type. Others of course..but their unique athletic ability is for all ages.

Read an article today about Deion Sanders being pissed at some of the latest HOF inductees. He says there needs to be a different color jacket for the elites...LOL

To many great players in NFL history to create this type of list. Different eras require different lists.

As an overall DB Woodson was better than Sanders. It shouldn't even be debatable. Woodson did almost everything better as a DB than Sanders.

F**king Deion. Nobody Loves that man Like He loves Himself.
Although I do think some guys have gotten in that shouldn't have.
I still stick with You should have at least played in a SB should be one rule.
Their are a lot of players in that have only been good in the regular season, and absolutely disappeared in the post season. They are still great, but not HOF worthy IMO.

Jim Plunkett not getting in because of stats is insane to me....and I hate the Raiders almost as much as Patriots. Any QB who leads a team to 2 Super Bowl wins should be HOF caliber.
