    That sucks.

I saw Primus as an opening act one time (may have been with Satriani, but I don't remember for sure). I was never a big Primus fan and was there for other bands, but the only thing I remember about Primus is that Les Claypool was wearing a long sleeve silk shirt, and someone in the audience threw a piece of gun that stuck to his shirt. He stopped the song and went on for 15 or 20 minutes cussing out whoever it was that threw the gum, and telling everyone that he'd always remember Dayton, Ohio as the place where $%$@$ idiots threw gum on his shirt and ruined it. I get that he wasn't happy about the gum, but it was ridiculous that he went on and on about it basically ripping everyone there for 20 minutes. I'm sure he could afford a new shirt and let the rest of the people in attendance enjoy the concert.

That’s pretty funny. I always liked primus.

went to see reverend horton heat at a little club in Baltimore called the 8x10. I couldn’t tell what happened, but all of the sudden the rev dove off stage and started beating the crap out of some guy. He still had his guitar with him. Then security dragged the guy out and people were punching him and pouring beer on him. It was quite strange

Based on the general likes and moods around here, this tune from long ago probably won't be appreciated, but just read where the talented keyboard/mellotron/flutist for King Crimson, Ian McDonald, passed away last month, this is in his honor. The singer and bass player Greg Lake (also of ELP) passed last year or so. While the song may not be everyone's cup of tea, the album cover has to be one of the top 5 ever IMHO.The keyboard, bass and drums are quite vivid. RIP Ian and Greg - you helped me survive Engineering School 10,000 years ago.

Speaking of King Crimson (Robert Fripp still going strong) here's a version of the band I caught live at the Greek Theater in LA a few months before Covid hit the world - my last live concert I attended. This is a nice quiet tune that you'd want to play before falling to sleep at night. LOL - They probably could use a bit more drum though.

That’s not his usual guitar player. His usual guitar player is some Eastern European guy that rips. Although, this guy is no slouch either.

so the guy in the video is named Adam Davis . He played with Sturgill Simpson in a band named Sunday Valley. When Simpson went solo he was introduced to Laur Joamets. He played with Simpson for a few years and then moved on as well. I guess that’s how Davis ended up playing at Sunking Brewery with Simpson.
    Here is Laur Joamets.

Love this band. David Eugene Edwards is such an underrated singer. Love the stuff he does with Wovenhand also.

I have a lot of King Crimson, from multiple eras. I love it all, but the Adrian Belew/Bill Bruford/Tony Levin years are my favorite era.
