Another spot filled. Now we're just waiting on a Strong Safety.

I'm looking at you, Honey Badger!!!

There were some Steelers fans criticizing the team for not doing anything and being cheap earlier this week .

Sweet. Hopefully the terms are low. SS and WR would be a great way to finish.

I would take JuJu back on a one year deal, then they would just need a speedy WR in the draft.

That's exactly what I have been hoping will happen. There seems to be such a limited market for him, but he can certainly still be a factor for the Steelers if he returns.

The secondary still really worries me and the defensive line is still a problem if Tuitt doesn't return, but bring back Smith-Schuster and sign a safety and they would be in fantastic shape heading into the draft.

and doing so before both legal tampering period and free agency began. It’s mind boggling.

Yes!!! Glad they got this done.

Don't hold your breath. It would be great but his price will be steep. Look at the crazy $hit Buffalo signed Von Miller for

Every day he’s on the market and another safety gets signed, his price goes down.

Low risk signings for many of these players; cap management at that. Why risk it should some of these players not pan out. More often than not, usually two players do not.

Ideally, I hope they all do... but history is against me here.

Just a thought, but they definitely don’t like one year deals, too much turnover, and maybe KC isn’t trying to straddle the next guy?

I think it may be for reasons of, well see where this goes. It's a, we'll pay you if you play up, sort of mentality.

TJ helped prove that the Steelers will pay. I think it may be them saying, if you perform, you'll get yours.

Also, and here it comes, maybe these guys want to play for Tomlin.....
First time as a HC for the Steelers there has been room and guys are signing up for it. Maybe we can't overlook the "players coach" some of us mention as an issue.

I cannot even begin to type out the list of things I would do or give up for the year so that we score getting him.

almost 26 mil. in dead money this year. the guys that step up can be extended next. as of now we will have 109 million of cap space next year. we need to sign more players but these two year deals don't lock them in very long and we have gotten much younger. see who performs and they will get paid. we will also have a new crop of rookies this year and next that we can keep on the cheap while we have cap room.
