To show how much more of a football town Pittsburgh is than Cincinnati, our message board has 30 pages on the Super Bowl. The Bengals message board had 20.

Definitely feel happy for Aaron Donald. For so long he was chasing that one final checkbox for his HOF resume. Now that he has it, in addition to his other accomplishments, to say he is a top 5 Defensive Player of All Time is not so unimaginable now.

Also feel happy for Stafford as well!! Well earned and it does give him a much stronger chance, if not a near lock, to get into Canton on the First Ballot for sure.

Now, if there is still one underlying aspect about this that does make me feel uneasy about the Rams winning is the fact that the Rams essentially constructed a Super Team by forgoing multiple First Round Picks. Hopefully that will not be a trend but I would not be surprised if some teams will be bold enough to do so in the future.

As for the Bengals?! Plenty of cap space but also plenty of FA's to sign.... though most have played themselves out of Cincy anyway either by their play or lack thereof; Jessie Bates III and Eli Apple each representing the exact opposites of the spectrum. Now, the Bengals could use the Franchise Tag to keep him for longer... but will they?

    Other FA's for the Bengals include the following;

    Riley Reiff

    Larry Ogunjobi

    C.J. Uzomah

    Ricardo Allen

    Quinton Spain

    B.J. Hill

    Tre Flowers

Again, most on this list will likely not come back but the likes of Uzomah and Bates III are worth retaining for certain.

Watching the post game, I don’t ever remember the players being really happy for their teammates like the Rams are.

No doubt about that, he didn’t lack for confidence and that type of thing can be contagious especially for a team that always seems to bungle it. Should be interesting to hear their fan base make some excuses about the refs too.

The good guys won. I know some of you jerk off to Lamar Jackson and his horrible
Passer rating. But I ain’t that guy.

That will be the least of the Bengals worries not just at present but also the future. Acquiring some good Offensive Lineman in addition to some good defensive backs (or retain those that they have) is critical. Time is now officially their enemy as Burrow is likely to command anywhere between $47-$50 Million a year at the very least; maybe even more.

I have nothing against the Bengals or Burrow or anyone on either team for that matter. Schadenfreude isn't very attractive. There's a reason it's called Schaden.

Both teams had great seasons and it was a good game.

My buddy was saying the team of refs that called the game were notorious for the most flags thrown all year ... they atypically don't call anything all game until the last 2 minutes of the Rams game?

I'm not crying that something is amiss, but it definitely felt weird as a fan who watched the NFL all year.

Anyways, hats off to Bengals for an awesome year. Good for Stafford and Donald as well! I for one was never a fan of Stafford and the lack of winning in his career, and I'm sure this SB win gets a huge monkey off his back.

And I agree with AskQuestionsLater .... I don't like Super teams, I never did ... I didn't like it when Lebron did it, hell ... I didn't like it when the Raven defense did it in 2001.
