    What.
1st You say Eli,and Matthew Stafford yet skip baker. Yes Eli at his worst still delivers a better ball then baker.
    Then You bring in TE.
I said not a thing about TE. Matter of fact TE are most bad Qbs 1st,and top target. Like I said for every outlier.....I can give 5 more that represents what I'm saying.

How did you quote my post and still miss the part where I mentioned Sanders, Burress and Nate Washington as the few that left us and had equal or better seasons????

Why did this feel like another post to back door bash Ben? We had a HOF QB for 18 years and so many people act like we had these second coming of Cliff Stoudt.

No, the 2nd coming of Cliff Stout is next year I fear. It won't take long for the Ben trashers to miss him.

No matter what a team needs a good QB to make the throws. But a WR can make or break him as well. Look at Tannyhill with the Titans, is he a better QB than thought? Or are his WRs now making him look like a Pro-Bowler?

Wallace had most yards with Steelers. Tied for most TDs Steelers and Miami. His year with most catches with Miami was 73, he had 72 with Steelers. He had more TDs in 4 years with the Steelers than the next 6 years of his career.

One thing for sure, after AB got hurt, the WRs the Steelers put out there for that playoff game in Denver weren’t going to be good for any QB. Too many drops cost them that game as I recall

I believe besides losing Ab as a Wr, he was also our Punt returner. Did You forget all the problems We had just catching punts in that game?? LoL. It was terrible.
Also losing Our 1st,and 2nd string Rbs before the game was a huge factor.
Not a lot of teams can win a playoff game with the loss of Number 1 Wrs, Punt returner, 1st,and 2nd string RBs.

And a QB who had his shoulder pummeled by a dirty pile on by Burfict just one week prior.

Wallace only played 5 seasons after leaving Pittsburgh. Why do people lie about this stuff? 63 games with Pittsburgh and 81 without. You're counting 2 games in one season with Philly?! Naw.

And what's your point? That Ben is a better QB than Tannehill, Bridgewater and Flacco? :applaud:

My point was your take on Wallace doesn’t reflect reality

All I pointed out was that Wallace never caught more passes or touchdowns with Ben than he did with Tannehill. That's just a fact. What's more realistic than facts?

    Mike Wallace
With Ben in 4 years : 4042 yards, 32 Tds

5 season, and 2 games with everyone else...
    3930 yards, 25 tds.
He was even the number 1 Wr on some of those teams. Which He wasn't in Pittsburgh. So yeah. I'd say He looked way better with Ben.

Antonio Brown would be on that list as well, his failure is on his off the field issues not his talent.

This question is tough to answer. Even if you take a really good WR and put them on a team with no QB, they will not put up the numbers they would if they had a good QB, just like Brady's numbers took a dip when NE stopped giving him at least average receivers.

Emmanuel sanders was in his 5th year with manning. When he played with Ben he was much younger. Tomlin had him on the bench most of the time. It seemed like him and Brown were already showing a diva I am better than you attitude instead of being teammates. They could have been an incredible duo.

If the Steelers draft Eli Manning or Phillip Rivers. They would be stuck at 4 Super Bowls. If Ben went to the Giants or Chargers I believe he still gets two rings (especially with Tomlinson). How the hell did Rivers mess that up.

Facts are stubborn things. Originally you said he had career high TDs and with Miami. I pointed out he tied career high TDs. Now you say he never caught more TDs. You’re moving the goal post and claiming facts.

What we really have going on is a discussion. Different people offer different perspectives. And that’s okay. That’s why we’re here. We are not litigating a court case.

If in your opinion Mike Wallace was a better receiver after he left the Steelers, that’s okay. And if myself and others say he wasn’t that’s okay too.

Ben made many receivers better. Some receivers like AB made Ben better. Great players elevate those around them.

Who is moving the goal posts? I never said Wallace was a better receiver after leaving the Dolphins. I said that Ben didn't "make him."

If Ben had "made him" it would have been nice if Ben had "made him" develop his route tree past drags, out and ups and gos. I can't think of another player who just relied on natural ability more than Wallace so it's strange to hear that he was "made" when he never even developed.

LoL. You Love 2 Argue. It's OK.
So.....since when besides delivering the ball on time, and in a accurate manner have Qbs developed Wrs??? Is that not the Wrs coaches job, and OCs job. QB job is 2 deliver the ball on time , and accurate as possible on routes called on the play 2 said Wr.

Wallace had 3 seasons with Miami/Baltimore better than his last season in Pittsburgh. That's with Flacco and Tannehill and they've never been accused of being HOF.

I stand by my original position that only AB and Santonio had amazing chemistry with Ben and that those are the two that reached their full potential.

I do think that Mike Wallace could have put up better numbers with Brees, Rodgers, Manning etc.

He was decent for them, but not as productive as he had been with the Steelers. Even when he was healthy in 2011, he still only caught 51 passes for 654 yards. That's not nothing, as Dagmire suggested, but it's nothing great in this era.
