Dionte Johnson and Najee Harris were just added to the Pro Bowl roster. Congratulations to them, this caps off a great rookie year for Harris.

Someone was telling me Najee Harris wasn't a Pro Bowler so this can't be true.

When was the last time the Steelers 1st round pick played in the Pro Bowl his rookie season?

Diontae would have been an alternate for either Hill or Chase. He was always going to go. If KC had gone then Harris would not have been to a Pro Bowl.

Pro Bowl in a rookie season is pretty big. 380 touches 0 fumbles.

Maurkice Pouncey made the Pro Bowl his rookie year. The last rookie RB was Franco Harris.

Thank you. Wow I didn't know it was that long ago where we had a rookie standout his first season.

Najee has a bright future ahead. It’ll be djs last pro bowl if he doesn’t learn to catch the damn ball.

Diontae's Pro Bowl nod is worthy and should be celebrated just as much as Najee's in my opinion. If anything, whether people like it or not, Diontae is the future Number One Receiver on the team and, for all intensive purposes, was the most consistent one; Pat Freiermuth and Najee himself being the other two. However, what is more impressive is the number of targets received versus the number of drops people believe him to have.

Per Pro Football Reference, among all Receivers who have qualified for 160 targets or more, Diontae is tied to third to Devante Adams who is first; tied with Stefon Diggs. Among those qualified for 150 or more targets??... he is again tied third with Stephon; both Mark Andrews and Devante being tied first. Ideally speaking... a Receiving Corps should have at least two Wide Receivers average between 100 to 115 targets between them; 90 to 100 if accounting for three total. The Bengals have two Receivers in Higgins and Chase who averaged over 100 with 128 to JaMarr and 110 to Higgins; Tyler Boyd himself having 94.

Compare that to the Steelers, Diontae literally taking up 169 of those targets while Chase Claypool had 105 of them. The rest?... Najee Harris is the next player at 94 targets; Pat Freiermuth at 79. Realistically speaking, one can easily make the argument that, for all intensive purposes... Diontae was, more or less, the Steelers Receiving Corps as there was no one else.... and I LITERALLY mean no one else.

In short? Diontae did have a bad game against the Chiefs..... but so did everyone else on Offense. What could go wrong on Offense... did go wrong. For that matter, what the Steelers need is a "Thermonuclear Option" at Wide Receiver for that will greatly assist not just Diontae but every player on Offense in the worst way possible.

4 drops during the regular season, which is what the pro bowl is based on. He had one of the best drop rates in the league.

He will also get better should the Steelers nab some Offensive Lineman. Preferably early on not just in the Draft but also in Free Agency.

Congratulations to both of them but the Pro Bowl is a complete joke. They made it so unwatchable it's as if they should just play flag football.
