I did my own thing with friends and I had the Steelers at 10 and 7.

    Wins
Raiders, Bengals, Broncos, Seahawks, Bears, Lions, Bengals, Ravens, Titans, Browns

    Losses
Bills, Packers, Browns, Chargers, Vikings, Chiefs, Ravens

Mixed up the Raiders/Bills and clearly got the bengals wrong.

I had the ravens winning the division at 12-5 followed by Pitt at 10-7, Browns 8-9, Bengals 7-10.

I think the original premise was, “if you had known all of the specific injuries recited in the first post, what would your prediction be?” I predicted 7–10, and that included Big Ben not making it through the season. Other injuries have filled in for his staying (relatively) healthy.

I know My friend, but I did figure injuries. I even thought Ben a few games. I also in My mind Had Alualu Half the season gone, and Haden. Though I didn't figure in Juju. For some reason He was the last on My thoughts of injury.
I all ways think of injuries....Well....Because I can't remember many seasons without key players going down. Though I get where You are coming from.

Because there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that any person being reasonably objective would look at a team missing 2/3 of its defensive line plus all the other injuries/retirements and predict 10-7. We’ve played 34 or 35 different people on defense through 15 games this season. A normal year is low to mid twenties.

Injuries are upending the ravens season. Don’t know why fans pretend they don’t have an impact.

I would welcome a coaching change, too by the way but injuries matter.

I know they matter but to say most teams don’t have injuries like Alulu or JuJu is silly. Losing your number 1 qb or something sure that can be a killer but coaching says next man up right? Guess they don’t mean it

Every team every sport has plenty of injuries. Tell me your problems I’ll tell you mine. Anything for some people to deflect blame from the all mighty

I predicted 7-10 because of Ben getting up there. If we had a 100% healthy team we'd be a beast on D and JuJu would have made a difference even if slight.

10-11 wins. And way more excitement!! We kick Detroit's ass!

Read it the wrong way. I was thinking if we had all those players.

I had predicted 7-10. Knowing the problems 4-5 wins.

Actually I believe STD would have predicted 10 wins and should we finish 9-7-1 I'll tip my cap to him.

If we knew all those players would be out I'd have been very interested in the W/L predictions on here.

Thats coach speak, of course they have to say that but backups are backups for a reason. A team can only sustain so many injuries and still field a good team. The dam breaks eventually.

I knew Burrow would change the culture in Bengal land but I didn't expect to get our butts handed to us twice with a combined score of 65-20. Little ironic if we turn around and sweep the Browns and Ravens. Your prediction of 10-7 (9-7-1 close enough) and second place still has a shot. I believe we need the Ravens to lose last two while we win last two.

NFL Network's talking heads were discussing how many different players have been thrown out there by NFL teams this season. Our boys were up there among the top. They were going on about how hard it is to achieve continuity.

Yeah my buddies and I pick the winners of every game and see how we stack up. Have all the divison winners besides afc north and nfc west. I had the seahawks taking that one. I did this on 9/1, so no clue who was injured or what not by that point off the top of my head. I dont remember a more frustrating year when ben was qb. There have been other so so years but i dont remember being dominated consistently.

1 of my buddies is a dolphins fan and he put it in perspective "You have had your entire life enjoying a successful football franchise, and when your having a down yr you **** on others who are actually enjoying a rare fun ride". I was bashing him saying his squad only plays 1/2 teams due to covid. Either way it doesnt feel successful these past 10 years. Feels like a lot of wasted time and i cant remember being so disappointed in how they play. It just feels flat and not caring a lot of times which i havent felt other years.

primarily Lamar getting hurt. With all the other injuries they were before he got hurt against cincy leading the division. Rodgers beat the undefeated cards with out half of his oline, top 2 wrs, top 2 defenders, etc.. the main reason the Steelers are bad is Ben isn’t no longer good and the offense is unreliable.

Losing two starters on the DL wrecked their defense, now the opposing teams guards get on Bush and Schobert and those guys can't get off of blocks. The Steelers have used 34 different players on defense, a lot of those guys are practice squad type of players, and they have used 5 different guys at LG.

He might not be a difference maker, but he's a good move the chains type of player with good hands.

But would you have bet money on it before the season knowing all of those guys would be out?

Why? First of all, I disagree with the list of players the OP presented. Tuitt was an unknown from day 1, and we knew before the season started DeCastro was finished. Even if he had played, we're talking 2021 David DeCastro, not ver. 2015. There was hope that the young interior defensive lineman (Buggs, Wormley, Mondeaux, et al) were going to be quality backups. Haden being out was a detriment. However, they got 36 hung on them last week with him in the lineup. I mean, he's 32 and clearly on the downside of his career. The big losses were Alualu and Smith-Schuster. Had Ben, Watt and Heyward or even Harris missed significant time then, yes, I would have said 3-14 or 4-13. Being a lifelong Steeler fan had nothing to do with it, trust me. If it had, before injuries I would have predicted 13-4 and AFC North Champions. With the injuries, 11-6 first WC spot.

Tuitt was never a part of this team all season he might as well have not existed
