I think that game was the last one Madden ever called. That’s likely why it’s on.

I'm sure that is the reason. NFL Network originally had a replay of a game from this past weekend scheduled for that time slot.

Here comes the greatest play in SB history. Told my son to come watch it and he said he's seen it before. I told him you can never watch it enough.

I watched that game with one Cardinals fan and a bunch of guys who didn't like either team, but they were rooting against the Steelers. They were alternating between gleefully pointing out the flag and arguing that Harrison didn't get in. I had some fun gloating then and at the end of the night.

The Cards had three great receivers with Fitz, Stevie Breston and Boldin.

One of the reasons I hate refs for life. They ruined the excitement of that play because I also thought it was coming back. Usually those flags are block in the back. So, I couldn't enjoy the run like I should have.

"You can look at it inside out, upside down, any way you want but a man makes a play like that you gotta give it to him"

There will never be another John Madden. RIP Great one.:crycry:

Kurt Warner was a good player elevated by fantastic supporting casts on two teams. Fitzgerald belonged in the discussion for best player in the league that year. I remember enjoying the Cardinals' run right up until the Super Bowl because I was rooting for Fitzgerald and Breaston, both decent guys with local ties. I remember watching Breaston play quarterback for Woodland Hills, which mostly consisted of him handing off or taking off with the ball and creating explosive plays.

I've always been a big Larry Fitz fan, how could anyone not be? Very likely a better person than he was a football player and that's pretty impressive.

I'm sitting here watching these players wondering how anyone in the right mind thinks that this Steelers current roster could ever come close to winning a SB. This team was stacked with players with talent, heart, drive and true football instincts. Something that's lacking with todays players.

Dude, just watch the tackling. Boldin was a big dude for a WR. Caught about a five yard out and was planted in place by Bryant McFadden.

Forgot about that dropped TD by Heath. That would have been huge.

Yup, both opening drives of the halfs should've been TDs.

Get LeBeau to play regular def vs super prevent n easy dub

My wife said she has 29 episodes of Young and the Restless to catch up on when I first turned it on. I said it will have to wait and she said I already seen the game before. I told her the same crap has been going on with her show for 45 years.:aikido:

I still can’t understand why Fitzgerald didn’t get flagged for running waaayyy out of bounds while chasing JH. He actually runs behind players on the sideline before reentering the field of play.
