Tony Romo is a moron

This idiot actually said if the steelers want to mount a comeback, they have to score here.

The game was 36-3 with about 3 1/2 minutes on the clock.

What an idiot.

 

I took it as a meta joke. Thought it was hilarious.

 

No more delusional than me picking the Steelers to win each and every week since this MB and the Pickem were created. Not to mention every game from here on out until they're smacking me in the face with a shovel.

 

Those who can, do... those who cannot, commentate. I never liked Romo as a player either.

Romo deffinently has no voice for being in his position as an announcer/color analyst its kinda annoying to be honest!!

 

He definitely talks too much, but his knowledge of the game is clear to anyone who knows football. He is also too much of a cheerleader, including for the Steelers, but I enjoy his insights.

 

I think he has hoodwinked alot of fans.

 

He's a former player who is offering his insight of the game. How is that a hoodwink?

 

I hear Romo hoodwinked Jessica Simpson a bunch of times.

 

I like listening to him, especially when he starts breaking down the offense and defense. I think he's one of the best at breaking down X's and O's during the game. I REALLY can't stand Aikman and Collinsworth though.

 

I think he usually has good insight and liked how they added the play diagram overlay (first time I saw it was today). Some of his Madden stuff today was cringe worthy though

 

Agreed. He breaks down the plays far more than anyone else. He's dramatic for sure, but he's still green. I like him

 

Similarly, I remember watching John Madden call a game and commenting on a WR saying "This is a guy that if he catches the ball in the end zone, it's gonna be a touchdown."

 

I kind of brought this up in the Madden thread.
